“yeah he just caught some fever. i’m so sorry that he won't be able to join today's shoot. thank you for understanding. yeah i’ll let him know. once again, thank you. “
gemini stood behind his manager, chewing his lower lip. when the manager turned around, he let out a loud sigh.
“what did he say? “
“luck was on your side gem. he bought your excuse. “
the said boy sighed in relief and dropped down on his bed.
“so what are you going to do about your situation? “
gemini groaned and rolled on his bed.
it was 7 in the morning when the manager arrived to pick gemini up for the day's schedule. the boy was fine last night but when his mom informed that he was still sleeping, manager felt something was up because gemini was an early riser and he loved his job so much that he was never late for work.
the manager went to check on him and when he entered the room, he found gemini under the covers.
“gemini, are you alright? “
“phi! save me! “ gemini startled his manager with a sudden jump out of the bed.
“please cancel today's shoot. i don't want to go. please i can't go. “
the manager held his shoulders and forced him to calm down.
“now what the reason? you've never skipped a shooting day so it must be an important matter or i’m dragging you out asap. enlighten me. “
“it's embarrassing. “
“gemini. “
“okay. so what are we shooting today? “
“umm we have outdoor shoots and then a kissing sequence. “
gemini groaned again.
“have i ever had a partner? “
“not as far as i remember. “
“do you think i’ve ever had my first kiss? “
“okay now do you want me to drag you out in your pajamas or? “
“phi i’ve never had my first my first kiss and today is a kiss scene shoot and i don't know how to kiss and i don't want to embarrass myself in front of the crew. especially fourth who i am supposed to kiss. “
gemini turned away and put his head in his hands. the manager processed the young boy’s dilemma and picked up his phone. he understood gemini was scared.
shaking his head, he dialled the director's number.
“i don't know phi. i don't know. “
