Everyone stayed silent as Mart takes an excruciatingly long time to place any words on the board, the only thing that classified as noise was just the thunder rumbling outside of the cabin and the clock ticking louder than normal in the background. they didn't even know why they invited the 5 year old who couldn't spell to play scrabble with everybody. but it was a "family gathering" and Kolóna insisted to include him, so... Here we are.
Telefragger snickered amongst the silence, trying his absolute best to not bully the poor kid. Though he was interrupted by Kolóna breaking the silence,
"Mart, buddy? Are you done?"
Mart took a moment to process what Kolóna asked, hopping in his seat as confirmation. He seems quite proud of his word that he made.
"Alright. Let's take a look then, shall we?"
Mart struggled as he reached out, but he ended up successfully throwing his word onto it's correct place on the board crookedly, some leftover water from his body splashing onto the board. This action made everyone quite curious on what words he could possibly comprehend... Is it really going to be something unintelligible, or an actual word?
"F U C K Y O U" he placed on the board.
. . .
"Um? Voidbreaker, you're the closest to him. Can you read it out loud? Maybe im seeing things." Kolóna chuckled awkwardly.
"... It reads, 'fuck you.' So perhaps you're not seeing things." Voidbreaker replied.
Everybody but Voidbreaker basically gasped out loud. where could have Mart possibly learn't that language from? He's 5 years old!
"Where did you learn that?!" Kolóna was the only one who was actually worried for the kid.
Telefragger bursted out laughing, unable to hold it in anymore. "PFFT- HAHAHA!"
"Telefragger... Did you teach him that? Are you kidding me?!" Kolóna protested, her flame flaring up in the process, she definitely knew Telefragger taught Mart that.
"HAHA! i- i didn't!" Telefragger clutched his stomach, tears forming in the corner of his eye's after laughing too much. This shit is HILARIOUS to him. But right now proved that he 100% taught Mart those words.
"He's cheating! He placed two words, you're only allowed to place one!" Telefragger is dragging it now.
"That's not funny, Telefragger!"
