Kai woke up with eyes full of tears. "another dream" he mumbled; another dream of a corrupt world where his boyfriends were girls, beautiful girls. It was wrong to think about, wrong to want to change them too.
Kai was an omega in a small pack, emmet was his alpha and Liam was his spouse (and emmet's omega).
By this time Emmet had already prepared breakfast and was eating with Liam. "Good morning Kai, are you ready for today?"
"Today?" Kai responded quizzically.
"You didn't prep?" Liam chimed in.
"Prep? For what?"
"It's test day"
It hit Kai like a Brick, how could he forget. All males had to be tested before the come of age (25!!! NOT 18) to make sure that their sect assigned at birth was correct.
Emmet was an alpha Liam was an omega
Kai was an omega
But one of those was wrong. One of them was a
mistake, and after today would be corrected.

The narrative follows Kai, assigned omega at birth, and desperately trying to fill her role. His alpha Emmett seems strong and will only grow more dominant, but Emmit is on the verge of maturity and seems to be more than underdeveloped. Liam has always fit the role of a domestic Omega but secretly craves a bigger life.
