Work Text:

It's been days ever since Seonghyeon talked to Keonho. Even when cameras are around, he'd only talk to Keonho when necessary.

Keonho, on the other hand, have been trying his best to get noticed by Seonghyeon.

Keonho doesn't even know why Seonghyeon is ignoring him. But if he must earn Seonghyeon's attention back, so he will.

During a live broadcast, he tried reaching for Seonghyeon’s hand, hoping the older boy wouldn’t be able to dodge him in front of thousands of viewers.

But before their fingers could even touch, Seonghyeon shifted in his seat and moved closer to Juhoon.

Keonho slowly lowered his hand.

The other day, Keonho brought Seonghyeon an acai bowl yet Seonghyeon asked James if they could share the acai bowl James bought.

James naturally having a soft spot for Seonghyeon, agreed.

Keonho stared at the untouched acai bowl in his hands.

The condensation had already begun to slide down the plastic cup.

Across the room, Seonghyeon was sitting shoulder-to-shoulder with James, absentmindedly stealing strawberries from the bowl James had bought.

Martin only patted his back, trying to comfort Keonho.

"He's still ignoring you?" Martin asked.

Keonho nodded and turned around to Martin. He looked like he was gonna cry.

Martin suppressed his laugh, trying not to make the younger feel bad.

"It's been four days." Martin added.

"Five and counting." Keonho answered.

"You're counting?"

"Of course I am."

Martin looked away before he laughed in Keonho's face, trying not to rub salt in the wound.

He turned around to Keonho and said "I'm sure he'll talk to you soon."

"But what if he doesn't?" Keonho asked while unaware that he was pouting.

"That'll never happen, trust me." Martin responded.

Keonho sniffed and went to their room.

Today, they almost spent the entire day inside the dancing studio. James was analyzing the steps himself while Martin was playing with Juhoon on the floor, basically going crazy.

Seonghyeon sat alone on one of the couches, scrolling through his phone.

The moment Keonho noticed, he was already making his way over. Before anyone else could take the seat, he plopped down beside Seonghyeon.

Seonghyeon glanced at him briefly before returning his attention to his phone.

Keonho took that as a win.

"Seonghyeon."

No response.

"Hyung."

Still nothing.

Keonho scooted a little closer.

Seonghyeon immediately noticed. He chose to ignore it.

"Baby…"

That finally earned him a look.

"What?"

Keonho’s shoulders slumped dramatically.

"Please."

Seonghyeon rolled his eyes.

"Please what?"

"I miss you."

Silence.

Keonho lowered his voice.

"I really miss you, baby."

For a second, Seonghyeon’s expression softened.

Just for a second.

Then he looked away.

"That’s your problem."

Keonho stared at him in disbelief.

Across the room, Martin nearly choked trying not to laugh.

Later that night, the five of them were eating takeout in the dorm.

Seonghyeon kept around his food around, looking for more meat.

Keonho noticed and grabbed a few pieces from his plate. He was gonna put some on Seonghyeon's plate before Seonghyeon turned to Juhoon and asked if he could have a meat or two.

Juhoon shrugged his shoulder.

"Go ahead." Juhoon said before letting Seonghyeon take a few pieces of meat from his plate.

His chopsticks remained suspended in the air.

The meat still hanging from them.

James glanced at Keonho then back to Seonghyeon.

"Can I have them?" Martin suddenly asked Keonho.

Keonho slowly put the meat on Martin's plate without a thought in his eyes. Clearly tired of being ignored.

James lowered his voice.

"I think he’s reached acceptance."

"I don’t think that’s acceptance,"Juhoon whispered back.

After eating, the members washed their face and changed their clothes. They all wanted to rest after an exhausting day.

Especially Keonho. He walked into their shared room and saw Seonghyeon on his bed, scrolling on his phone.

For days, he’d been ignored.

His hand had been dodged.

His food had been rejected.

His affection had been met with eye rolls.

Honestly, he’d had enough.

Without saying a word, he walked over to Seonghyeon’s bed.

Then he climbed onto it.

Seonghyeon didn’t even have time to react. Keonho wrapped his arms around his waist and buried his face against his chest.

Thank god Martin wasn't in the room.

Seonghyeon was shocked and froze for a few seconds.

For a few seconds, neither of them moved.

Then Seonghyeon awkwardly tapped the back of Keonho’s shoulder.

"Get off." Seonghyeon said.

That only made Keonho hug him tighter.

"No."

"Keonho."

"No."

"You're heavy."

"I'm not."

"Get off."

"I miss you."

Silence.

"I miss you a lot, baby." Keonho looked up at Seonghyeon, like he was about to cry.

Seonghyeon was stunned at what he was seeing.

"What did I do, baby? Tell me so I can fix it. Please." Keonho was basically pleading.

Seonghyeon sighed and rolled his eyes.

"...Well."

Seonghyeon paused—not sure whether he ws going to continue or not.

"I just don't understand why you keep on doing stupid fan services." Seonghyeon rolled his eyes again.

Keonho looked at him dumbfounded.

"What are you talking about?"

"You've been talking how much noonas you're pulling."

"I've always avoided fan service, it's not that hard. Yet you're always flirting with fans. All the 'noona, i love you' nonsense. Seonghyeon scoffed.

"Why don't you try being with them instead then." Seonghyeon muttered before looking away.

Keonho pushed himself up on his elbows.

"So you've ignored me for days because you were jealous...?" Keonho asked.

Seonghyeon rolled his eyes. "Forget it."

"No."

"Forget it."

"Baby, no."

"If it bothered you that much, you should've told me."

Seonghyeon looked away.

Because saying it out loud sounded ridiculous.

Because he knew fan service was part of the job.

"It sounds ridiculous." Seonghyeon muttered.

"No it doesn't, baby." Keonho answered.

Keonho was on top of Seonghyeon now, brushing his hair.

"I only want you, baby."

"No matter how much fan service I do, I'll only come home to you at the end of the day."

"It's only because of work. I'll tone it down from now on, alright baby? I'm sorry."

"Keonho, you don't have t-"

Keonho cut him off by leaving a soft kiss on his lips.

"I"

Keonho left another kiss.

"Absolutely"

Another kiss.

"Have"

Another kiss.

"To"

And another kiss landed on Seonghyeon's lips. He couldn't help but smile at Keonho's antics.

Keonho immediately pointed at him.

"You're smiling."

Seonghyeon rolled his eyes. "So what?"

Seonghyeon's reply made Keonho hug him tighter and leave a bunch of kisses on his face.

Seonghyeon tried to act annoyed at first but laughed eventually.

Keonho tried to take a good look at his face when he heard Seonghyeon laugh. He only smiled back at Seonghyeon and kept attacking him by leaving kisses all over his face.

Keonho pressed his forehead against Seonghyeon.

"You keep forgetting that I like you, baby."

"Not true."

"So true."

"So not true."

"So very true."

Seonghyeon rolled his eyes knowing he won't win.

"I'm sorry too." Seonghyeon said quietly.

"For what, baby?"

"For acting immature."

"It's fine, baby." Keonho answered with a smile.

"Really? Should I do it again?" Seonghyeon asked with a smile also.

Keonho's smile turned into a pout and shook his head like his puppy.

Seonghyeon laughed at the sight and wrapped his arms around Keonho's neck before their lips intertwined.

Martin walked inside the room and threw his hands up in the air.

"OH COME ON."

The couple looked at him and said "Get out."

Martin frowned at the couple and took a pillow from his bed.

"I didn't wanna sleep here anyways." He muttered before slamming the door.

He went to James and Juhoon's room to spend the night there.

Without a word, he climbed onto Juhoon’s bed and wrapped his arms around him.

Juhoon nearly dropped his phone.

"What are you doing?"

"I’ve been evicted."

James looked up from across the room. "They made peace already?"

Martin nodded.

"Really?" Juhoon twisted his head to turn to Martin.

Martin nodded again before burying his face on Juhoon's nape.

James groaned. "Great. Now i'm stuck with you two." He said, annoyed.

Martin and Juhoon only laughed at James.
