Third grade summer fishing with the squad! + Jaden
"Parrot! Are you sure we're going the right way?!"
Rek scream from under the tree Parrot and Theo are currently standing on, Parrot is having his spyglass out with his map on his hand while Theo checks for anything that screams 'a lake nearby'.
"Yep! Let's keep going ahead!" Parrot shouts down and with Theo, they land down on ground.
"Bro, we've been walking for nearly two hours!" Derap breaths out tiredly.
"We must be near now, I can hear strong water waves." Parrot starts walking again.
"Yeah! The wind is getting colder too!" Rek runs after with Theo.
"Oh my lord..." Derap shakes his head.
"Holy shit." Said Derapchu.
The squad was in awe by the scene in front of them, it's a giant water lake with a with a bunch of beautiful trees and flowers surrounding it and there's even a shore nearby leading out to The Great Sea.
"Hmmm, which part of this lake should we fish at and set down our stuffs?"
Parrot begins to look around the lake and noticed someone wearing a cool pirate outfit and has a 'mermaid' tail, sitting not so far away from where they're standing. After telling the others to stay put, he runs to the tall stranger and asked some questions.
"Fishing spot? Haha, well, you can fish next to me or the other nearby spot to this current one im fishing in."
"If you don't mind, please excuse us!"
"Yeah, it's no problem."
Parrot ran back to his squad tell them to start moving their stuffs over to the pirate guy and fish next to him.
"C'mon Rek! You can do it!" Theo cheers.
He lost the fish again, it's the third time in the span of 5 minutes.
"I am not built for outdoor activities, I swear-"
"I can teach you." Four of them look over to the pirate guy and beam.
In the next hour, the man teaches Rek how to fish correctly and gives the kids some useful tips. When all of them got comfortable with fishing, they immediately host a competition to see who get the most fish today.
"Mind if I join?" The pirate asked.
"Sure!" They said in unison.
After an hour passed, the kids were already out of stamina to keep on going while the pirate shows no sign of getting tired.
"Alright, alright, you win, sir!"
"You guys did very good too." The siren smile at them before he heard fireworks coming close to the lake, it seems like Parrot also heard it.
"I need to go now, see you kids again, one day. The fishes, I'll give them to ya'. Enjoy your time here fishing."
He puts the fishes in a chest and gave it to Parrot before walking away while waves them goodbye.
"He's such a mystery person..." Rek commented.
"Well at least he looks handsome, is he a merman or some sort?" Derap watches the man going pass the trees and disappeared.
"Well, we got free fishes!" Theo cheers.
"And it was fun."
They all nodded agree with Parrot.
Fireworks sounded throughout the forest, startled the squad when they were putting the fish they catch into a different chest. As they look up, two familiar figures were flying towards them at full speed.
"Parrot!" Flame shouted.
"Brothers?! What are you guys doing here..." Parrot asked as his brothers landed in front of them.
"Did you see Jaden anywhere here?!" Wemmbu asked immediately.
"You bum, he doesn't know who Jaden is." Flame hit Wemmbu's head.
"Oh right... Uh, a guy with a pirate outfit?"
Parrot, Theo, Derap and Rek then look at each other with their mouths open, they nod in unison.
"We met him like over an hour ago and he just left." Parrot said.
"Yeah, he went in that direction." Theo and Rek points to the seashore.
"You guys look... shock..." Derap stares at Wemmbu and Flame who are looking at the four of them like they just commit the worst crime ever existed in the Overworld.
"Oh my god..."
The group spent the rest of the day with Flame and Wemmbu, just continue fishing while being lecture by them about how they could've gotten hurt by the said pirate guy, Jadenman. Even though Theo wanted to open his mouth to tell them what happened multiple times, the rest of the group stop him before he can do anything.
