Chapter Text
" Shit shit shit shit!- "
Mob blurted out as he hit the hard wooden floor, scrambling to his feet and lodging many tiny glass shards into his skin, but he definitely has a much bigger problem to worry about.
" VERITY!- " Mob tried, but it was to no use,
Verity- no, that THING was screeching far louder than he could ever overpower.
But other than that, there was no time to think. He needed to run, and fast.
He held his polished iron axe with trembling hands has he broke the oak logs he had placed to block off the iron door, and probably broke the button as of how harsh he had pressed it. Mining the stone railing, while jumping to the ground, the enderman scraped his leg against some of the broken stone and unfortunately got a painfully deep gash.
He hit the ground with a numbing thud that seemed to drown out all the sound. And he could've sworn that he heard something pop while he was running, but he couldn't think of that right now, he needed to get to safety first. He glanced back to check his distance between him and the .. creature, but it was strangely nowhere in sight? Mob's instincts told him that this wasn't a good sign, so he kept running to his house base without slowing down.
He burst through the sturdy wooden doors, splintering it a bit and bolted upstairs looking for his little companion. He still refused to accept that Verity could be that.. entity. Hot tears welled up in his shiny emerald eyes, threatening to spill as the horrible memories came rushing back; the terrifying screech, it's uncanny, horrifying face, and.. it's body.. Mob almost gagged at the memory. He turned back to his familiar personal helper, and he was in fact there. But something was wrong.. he .. had no face..?
" Wh- Verity- why- "
Mob fumbled over his words, trying to question the ball before he was interrupted by the creature's deafening screeching & glass shattering. It was back, and it was angry. He impulsively blocked off the staircase with the rest of his logs as he turned back to Verity to try and talk to it.
"V- VERITY! I-I'M SORRY.. HE'S COMING- PLEASE.. I- "
" I CAME BACK FOR YOU- I.. i could've run further b-but- but i didn't! " Mob tearfully yelled as an attempt to explain and save himself from this horrible nightmare. But the faceless yellow ball showed no signs that it had even heard him or cared. His shoulder and leg started to throb as the pain finally kicked in, so he sat down on the floor, He was starting to finally lose hope, thinking that this was definitely where he dies.
..
Until..?
