"What are we doing in Utah anyway?" Yoonchae asked, flipping her hair behind her back.
Sophia took out a shotgun from only God knows where. "We're about to pull the biggest prank of 2025," she mischievously responds.
Yoonchae turned to her left and saw Lara starting a live on Weverse, with Manon and Megan looking down at the 19-year-old's phone.
After wondering why the hell anyone would live stream assassinating a podcaster with shitty political views, Yoonchae looked back to Sophia, who was now talking sweetly with her totally-just-a-best-friend-and-not-girlfriend Dani.
Lara practically shouting "Hi Eyekons!" after starting the live stream snapped Yoonchae's attention back to her left. "You know what we're gonna be doing today?" Megan asked the audience, before shortly answering her own question, "We're gonna shoot Charlie Kirk!!"
"Keep your voice down, Megs," Manon told the bisexual girl. "We don't need anybody out here knowing what we're about to do, y'know."
Yoonchae rolled her eyes and once again looked at Sophia and Dani. The Filipina was loading the shotgun with bullets, while the Latina mami had a worried look on her face. Yoonchae strained her ears to eavesdrop on their conversation.
"Soph, do you really think this is a good idea?" Dani asked, scratching her head. "I mean, we could potentially ruin our career and reputation by doing this."
Sophia just chuckled and replied, "Dani, honey, our fanbase has two sides: the queer 14-year-old girls and the queer 25-year-old women." Soph gently put a hand on Dani's shoulder. "Our Eyekons won't care if we kill some random podcaster who wants us dead."
"Yeah, well..." Dani thought of a response. "What if we do have MAGA fans? They're probably gonna be super pissed if they find out we're killing this guy."
"They can fuck off," Sophia told her sweetheart. Then she shifted her gaze to Lara, Manon and Megan. "Hey Manzanita!"
Manon seemed surprised that Sophia had called for her. "Uh, what do you need, Sophia?"
"Is this shotgun loaded properly?" the Filipina asked with an awkward smile on her face. "I don't wanna completely botch this thing..."
Manon walked over to them and took the gun out of Sophia's hands. After carefully and thoroughly inspecting it, she handed it back and said, "Seems fine to me."
Lara and Megan looked over and, realizing that the time had come, ran over to the other four girls. "GUYS IT'S ACTUALLY ABOUT TO HAPPEN!!!" Lara exclaimed, squealing in excitement.
Yoonchae glanced at Lara's phone, and saw that it was focused on Charlie himself. She could tell the chat was going crazy.
The chopped podcaster with a horrid hairline and gums galore asked a random, "Counting or not counting gang violence?"
And with that, while softly singing the lyrics to "My Way", Sophia took aim and pulled the trigger.
Yoonchae's eyes widened at the sight that ensued. Blood seeping out of Kirk's neck, the screaming of the crowd... It was definitely a lot.
She looked at Lara's phone, and took notice of how the chat was blowing up. She didn't bother reading any of the comments.
After that, she looked at Sophia. When she realized she actually got him, Sophia dropped the shotgun and pulled Dani into a warm embrace, kissing her. Yoonchae gasped. Wasn't Dani straight??
Megan must've heard Yoonchae's quiet gasp, as she poked Lara's shoulder and told her to focus the camera on Sophia. Lara screamed in astonishment.
Yoonchae gazed at Manon, who was, with a huge grin, helping Dani stay stable as she kissed Sophia.
"I guess Lara and I aren't the only queer members!" Megan blurted out, earning a jab in the stomach from Yoonchae.
Damn, Yoonchae thought, we're never gonna hear the end of this.
