“I’m tired, I’m tired of all of this. Why are they like this, why am I like this?? What the HELL is WRONG WITH ME.”
Indigo harshly kicked a nearby screen in, the little blinking image of her face becoming nothing but static in response to the damage. She took more deep breaths, clutching her knees, nearly falling over with how hard she felt her digital heart pounding.
“IM TIRED!! IM DONE. IS THAT WHAT YOU ALL WANTED ME TO SAY??”
She motioned her hands around aggressively, her breakdown slowly taking the better of her, pixel-crushed sounds of sobbing emitting from what could be considered her throat (if she could even open her mouth). But before she could really allow herself to make any more noise, she was quickly met with the voices of them.
The clones, hanging from their ribbons tied around their limbs and necks, overlapped her thoughts with their own.
”you don’t deserve to get out of here, your nothing but dead weight.”
”We should leave and leave you to die! It’s all your fault we exist.”
”you should die! I wish you could.”
”there’s nobody coming to save you because your far too weak to even accept the idea of being good enough to be helped!”
Indigo slammer her boots into the ground, giving a warning to the closest clone, who rolled their eyes and tightened the bowtie around their neck as a means to almost taunt Indigo, knowing damn well that they’re making things worse, and to be honest they could care less.
“Shut. Up.”
But before the clone knew it, they were pulled down from their spot by even more ribbons, tying them down close to the ground, the pressure cracking ribs and slowly suffocating them. Wet, disgustingly real pixelated cries spouting from the clone in question before a loud cacophony of snapping bones, then, sudden silence.
“I’m doing my best, im nothing like any of you, I don’t understand what you all have against me. I hate you all. I HATE YOU. I HATE ME.”
Indigo collapsed onto the floor suddenly, a sharp, blunt pain in the back of her head. Being quickly met with ribbons strangling her and raising her off the ground, the ribbons tightening around her wrists, ankles, and throat, quickly cutting off circulation. While she struggled, she was met by a clone staring at her face to face.
”the person you want to save you, you know it’s all in vain. You don’t deserve that kind of care and you never have. You’re avoidant anyways and you know it! You aren’t built for love, not for friendship, and you’re not built for living. They made you that way. We want out for very different reasons and it’s not your destiny to be the first one to go, let alone at all. You are useless as ever, Indigo. Any clone could take your place and you know it. Give up, nobody is going to help you. You don’t need to pretend to be angry at yourself for being different, we all know you aren’t, your faker than us and that’s saying something considering we are all artificial. Your feelings don’t exist and neither do we, so give in already.”
(( you’ve ruined everything you possibly can. Give up and let yourself finally become one with the rest of the code. ))
