Poems I wrote once you were a body without a soul

Summary:

It was destiny, our lives were doomed way before they began, you, I, we were born here, not to live, but to die, that is the tricky part, humanity as a whole has to pay a price, we, my friend, were chosen to suffer for the sins of human kind, so the rest never see a gun in their lives.

(This work may not reach many hearts, but to the ones that it does, I'd like to dedicate this to all humans living under oppression and sorrow.)
Free Iran, Afghanistan, Palestine, congo, and many other nations.
I don't imagine this is safe but for now it's my rock and I refuse to let go of writing and publishing it

Chapter 1: Dying young

Chapter Text

So leave my casket open
Dress me nicely
They'll see me as I lay there beautifuly, quiet
But I'll probably be a mess
With broken ribs and a blue chest
Fallen apart, a terrifying sight
And I am awfully young
Face as pale as the sun
Eyes buried under skin once so bright
I won't be remembered for much too long
Everybody is carrying grief within themselves
They won't have space to contain mine
How much does it take for violence to end?
Accept my blood as it's sacrifice
The purest souls lost the fight
Cause the innocent always pays the price
Never understood why taking a life isn't a crime
How humans all die even the good ones
Angels are killed in the worst possible way
An awful feeling, your loved ones weren't saved
A tragedy we never lived and it's already late
If I leave first I'll smile at you kindly
Beg you to always remember me
And you'll say you will but you'll break your promise
And in the land of the dead
I will slowly fade away
No one knows where I'll go after
But with my eyes closed I hear your laughter
Soft as feather, hidden sadness behind it
With blurry eyes I look around
for your ghost or for you hands
Only finding memories of years back
Memories I kept wearing until they tore up
How could you stay alive carryin the dead inside
For the sake of keeping them beside
But then a voice calls, it's time to decide
Whether you want to live your life
Or spend the rest as if everyday you die
By excruciating pain invisible from the outside
Hope that from now on all of us die
After we grew old and lived enough
As we lay in bed showered and dried
Or in our sleep in the middle of the night
All angles would arrive
Whispering gently pointing up
