Clarisse La Rue was a daughter of Ares. She had believed her father hated his children, ESPECIALLY his daughters. But was she wrong? Would her father help save her when she was in need? Let’s find out.

This is like a short one shot, I might add more if it gets popular, maybe.

Chapter 1: Anger and Sticks.

Chapter Text

[CLARISSE POV]

Clarisse walked through the grounds of Camp-Half Blood. She had just been completely p!ssed off by Percy Jackson, the son of Poseidon, and walked to the woods to cool off. She has a bad temper, so she usually knew to calm herself down before doing anything else. She either went to the woods, or her bed in the Ares cabin.

She walked on the dirt trail, her brown hair blowing in the wind, and her hands to her sides, clinched in balls and slightly moving as she stomped. The sun was setting, and she had to be back before evening was set, for dinner and the campfire tonight. She grabbed a pointed stick off the ground. Clarisse turned around, swinged the stick, then threw it as far as she could behind her. She huffed, and slightly smiled, satisfied. She then heard the stick slap against something, Clarisse turned around, and saw a kid fall against the ground, a small trickle of red liquid dropped onto the harsh dirt. Clarisse, afraid it might be a person she liked, speed-walked to the injured camper.

She finally reached the person. The stick had deeply scratched their left arm, leaving a huge gash, with small drops of blood leaking. She concentrated on finding out who this person was. She realized it was none other than the kid she hated most. Percy Jackson.

He was forced by Chiron to run shortly after Clarisse to inform her to come back, as it was getting dark in the forest, and dinner was about to be prepared. (She loved getting there early.) He looked up, and saw Clarisse, and his bleeding arm. He sat up, his eyes going into small slits from the pain. “Clarisse why would you throw a stick at me!! I had to run after you to tell you it’s time for dinner!” Percy yelled. Clarisse lost any sign of guilt and feeling bad for his injury. She turned and left, mumbling a slur to him, her energy drained.
