One day in Care-A-Lot, Swift Heart Rabbit was doing what they do best: running. "Sorry! 'Scuse me, coming through!" they said to the other bears as they ran, their heart beating calmly fast. They kept running and dodging until...
"Look out-!" the rabbit said before running into Tenderheart, sending the two of them into a orange and blue ball of fur.
"Woahoahoahoah!" the two said before slowing down. "Sorry 'bout that, Tendy!" Swift Heart said, looking at Tenderheart's face before slowly moving their gaze towards his chest. "No problem, Swifty." Tenderheart said, chuckling lightly. Swift Heart wasn't listening, though...
"Ohmygoshohmygoshhecanfeelmyheartbeataaaaaaa" Swift Heart thought, their face blushing and their heart starting to pound. Tenderheart's heart was thumping calmly, although he too was blushing. "Like what you feel, Swifty?" he said, in a calm yet swoon-worthy voice. All Swift Heart could do was nod.
"Heh, such a cute heartbeat," thought Tenderheart, "I wonder if they can feel mine~" his heart thumped a little faster, which caused both of the cuddly creatures to blush deeper.
"Gulp~" went Swift Heart. "Gurgrowl~" went Tenderheart's tummy. "Y-you heard that?" stammered Tendy. "Your h-heart or your tummy?" stuttered Swifty, their chest shaking from their fast heartbeat. "Both." Tenderheart said, eyes fixated on the bunny's chest. He slowly reached his paw and gently placed it on their chest.
"Tha-THUMP! Tha-THUMP! Tha-THUMP! Tha-THUMP! Tha-THUMP! Tha-THUMP!" went Swift Heart's thumper. "Wow~" was the only word that Tendy could utter. Swift Heart put their paw on Tendy's chest. "Thumpa-thum, thumpa-thum, thumpa-thum, thumpa-thum" went the internal percussion of the orange bear. "Wow~" said Swift Heart.
Suddenly, their heart pounded harder and faster until it was very visible. "Woah~!" Swift and Tender said before Tendy's did the exact same, then the two looked into each other's eyes, their tummies (and hearts) touching before Tenderheart kissed Swift Heart on the nose. "T-Tendy~!" they exclaimed, their heart skipping a beat. They then kissed Tenderheart on the nose. "Hehe~" he said, his heart fluttering.
All this went on for a few more hours until both of their hearts were calm and back in their chests. "So..." Swift Heart said, "...race ya back to town square?"
"You're on!" Tenderheart said, getting up and stretching his legs.
"Hehehehe~" chuckled Swift Heart. "On your mark... get set... GO!!!" they cried, disappearing into a light blue streak. "Hey, wait up!" said Tenderheart, sprinting as fast as he could.
And since that day, Tenderheart Bear and Swift Heart Rabbit are still close friends. A couple, some would say, but don't take my word for it. ;3
