Work Text:
Xiaoge likes watching Wu Xie and Pangzi. Sometimes it can be…stressful, but at times like these, when both of them have fallen asleep, it's just comforting. They're safe, it's quiet and there's nothing too complicated to think about. They're both on the couch, Wu Xie's head is resting against Pangzi's shoulder, and Pangzi's head has fallen back against the couch, his mouth slightly open, as he snores softly. The movie they'd been watching it still playing on the TV, though Xiaoge had turned the volume down a little. He knows from experience that as soon as it ends, at least one of them is likely to startle awake.
Xiaoge could have joined them on the couch. Sometimes he does, and sometimes he doesn't. They never really question his choice, even though Pangzi might make some joke about it. More often than not it's more interesting to watch them than any of the movies, but sometimes Xiaoge likes being physically close to them, and will opt to share the couch anyway.
If they don't wake up soon, Xiaoge should move both of them to their beds. Sleeping on the couch for any length of time is not good for either of them, and they will both complain about it in the morning. He can carry them, but he'll wait until the end of the movie.
Pangzi mumbles something, that might or might not have included 'Tianzhen,' shifting a little, his hand, that had been resting against Wu Xie's thigh, moving to rest against his crotch. He turns his head too, which seems to end the snoring. A moment later, he mumbles Wu Xie's name again, far more clearly this time, his hand moving against Wu Xie's crotch. Xiaoge suddenly suspects what sort of dream Pangzi is having, though he isn't sure if he would have expected it to feature Wu Xie.
Perhaps it's not really a surprise. Xiaoge himself has wondered before, if he'd enjoy that kind of physical intimacy. He can't imagine himself touching a stranger like that; can't picture himself wanting to. But with Wu Xie. With Pangzi. Perhaps. It is not entirely out of the realm of possibility.
Should he intervene somehow? Pangzi might be crossing certain boundaries, that he should at least ask about first, even if he isn't aware of doing so. Xiaoge considers it for a second, long enough for a small moan to slip from Wu Xie's lips as Pangzi's hand seems to do something and then Xiaoge already finds himself at their side, his hand on Pangzi's shoulder. A feeling he's not entirely certain about curls in Xiaoge's belly. He's not entirely ignorant of what desire is, but he's not certain that's quite it. Not entirely.
He feels vaguely uncomfortable. His hand tightens on Pangzi's shoulder.
"Pangzi," he says, shaking him just slightly, trying to keep from waking up Wu Xie as well.
"Mmh?" Pangzi mumbles, more asleep than awake. "Xiaoge… wha…? Is the movie over already?" Pangzi blinks, shakes himself a little, trying to wake up enough to figure out what's happening, and then, all of a sudden, he goes still, his muscles tensing slightly.
Apparently that's enough to make Wu Xie stir, but all he really does is snuggle his head more comfortably against Pangzi's shoulder. For some reason Pangzi is staring at Xiaoge with wide, slightly panicked eyes. Xiaoge does not know what he wants Xiaoge to do.
Slowly, Pangzi starts moving his hand away, like he's hoping that Wu Xie has already fallen back asleep and won't notice where it was in the first place.
"You can keep going. Feels good," Wu Xie mumbles, his voice heavy with sleep.
Pangzi startles so hard that Wu Xie's head gets jostled off his shoulder. Wu Xie makes an unhappy noise, and then opens his eyes a sliver, squinting at Pangzi. "What the hell, Pangzi?" he asks, sounding kind of offended, but still mostly sleepy.
"You… I…" Pangzi says, uncharacteristically lost for words. "You told me to keep going!"
Xiaoge doesn't quite know what might be expected from him in this situation, but as his hand is still on Pangzi's shoulder he squeezes it lightly. Pangzi takes a deep breath, his hand coming up to pat Xiaoge's hand.
"And you didn't," Wu Xie points out, still sounding mildly disgruntled, and then settles his head right back on Pangzi's shoulder like he might be about to go back to sleep right there.
Pangzi's sticks his hand down to Wu Xie's crotch, almost defiantly. And then abruptly stops. Wu Xie doesn't really react much.
"I'm not giving you a handjob before I kiss you."
Wu Xie lifts his head again, and then blinks sleepily at Pangzi. "Well," he says when Pangzi doesn't immediately do anything.
"You're a menace, Tianzhen," Pangzi mutters and then grabs him by the neck and pulls him into a kiss.
Xiaoge draws in a quick breath, his hand tightening on Pangzi's shoulder. That feeling in his belly… He's quite sure it's far, far closer to desire this time.
Pangzi pulls back a little, enough to mumble, "We shouldn't leave Xiaoge out."
Wu Xie makes a small noise that might be dismay, and then turns to look at Xiaoge with large eyes. He blinks and holds a hand out to Xiaoge. What else could Xiaoge do than take it and let himself be pulled closer?
