Work Text:
The earth and my home
I lay
I sit
And skip
And jump
Over puddles and rocks
Under leaves and weeds
And the most finest trees,
I lay in the grass,so green and un bothered
I let the sun kiss my skin like a mother holding her daughter,
I sit on a stomp where I tree used to sway,
Before mankind chopped and took it away.
I skip over the dirt in which the trees dig their roots,
and watch while the trees adorn their arms with the sweetest of fruit.
I jump into water,
and let the cold ocean hold me while I drift and float, grabbing my body while I stay and faulter.
