Fan art in yarn form — Bender Bending Rodriguez from Futurama, knitted into a wearable hat.
The antenna was the hardest part — I lost count of how many times I restarted it.
My cat Peach supervised the entire process by staring at me with quiet judgement and zero encouragement.
The mouth is embroidered separately using black cotton thread, which gave it a cleaner finish than trying to knit it in. Made with grey worsted yarn on US7 circular and double pointed needles.
I wore the finished hat in public. My kids acted like strangers.
No regrets. Peach has many.
