Night terrors
I have a recurring chain of dreams. The order typically goes; ocean,cliff,ceiling. And,typically,no,I don't expect anyone to understand what I mean by that,which is why I will explain.
Ocean: the dream starts with me standing on the beach (first person) facing the ocean, then I get in the water ,then it's basically a flash back of me on the beach again, then it cuts back to me being further back into the water,then another flash of me on the beach, then I get sucked into a rip tide. From there, that keeps on happening until I am FAR back (can't see the beach),the sky is dark blue,and I'm actively being submerged in the water. From there I typically wake up,or the dream ends,but once ,the dream didn't end and the sun was rising, I could faintly see the beach ,and there were people on the beach,silent. It looked like they were talking, but it was silent.
Cliff: the dream usually starts with me standing at the edge of a cliff,and I fall. After I fall,though ,the ground never finds me. I float in the air,that's the whole dream.
Ceiling: I see creatures,often distorted ones, crawling on my ceiling. They crawl down my head frame and onto my bed. They swallow me or kill me. The dream sometimes ends,sometimes it goes on and I have to wait it out.
