It was the middle of summer and being the middle of summer it was hot out. Right now Zanka was in his room with his annoying boyfriend Jabber. Zanka held a fan in his hands sitting on his bed Jabber sat beside him, he was closest to the window blowing smoke out after taking a hit from his pen. Normally he was a pot kinda guy but Zanka be damned if Jabber used that in his room.
“Babes” Jabber said, leaning his head against Zanka, “I’em bored” He whined into his ear. “Wah wah” Zanka mocked. He was wearing some shorts and a t-shirt, an unusual attire for him saying he normally dressed like a saint. Zanka didn’t even own a normal t-shirt he was wearing jabbers. All of his t-shirts had long sleeves sewn onto them and it was too hot for long sleeves.
Jabber's hand traced shapes on Zanka's thighs calmly. “Ur so pretty zan-zan” He whispered into Zanka's ear. “I am not fucking you jabber its too hot and its the middle of the day” He growled his eyes closed as he enjoyed the fan. “Wah, so mean~ zan-zan” Jabber whined as Zanka shoved him away
“We should go to the beach Zan-zan” Jabber purred. “I don't own a swimsuit” Zanka replied, he had never gotten one since he didn't like how exposing they were. “Really geez zan-zan you really are a saint” He teased quickly grabbing the bag he had brought with himself. “But don’t worry I always come prepared Zan-zan” He said, grabbing an extra pair of swim trunks from his bag. “Here and you can just wear my shirt in the water” Jabber stated throwing them at Zanka.
“Im not wearing this little in public” Zanka grumbled, Zanka had always kept his thighs and arms fully covered in public since he had old sh scars adorning them from when he was younger. “Come on Zan-zan they’re all healed nothing to be ashamed of” Jabber said changing into his swimsuit not caring if Zanka was watching.
Jabber would normally shower at Zanka’s place anyway since the raiders' showers sucked. So his body wasn't anything Zanka hadn’t seen before. “I’ll ask riyo and the others if they want to come” Zanka stated getting up and walking to go find the others.
Rudo was originally the one who had found out after bursting into Zanka's room today, finding Zanka and Jabber making out on his bed, and ratting him out to the rest of team akuta. That made for a very awkward conversation with Enjin about his taste in men.
“Me and Jabber are going to the beach. Do any of you want to come?” Zanka asked as he entered the common room where Enjin and Gris where playing cards, while Riyo rudo and amo sat together on the couch riyo was cutting amos hair for her and rudo was watching, and follo and fu sat awkwardly together on the couch next to them.
“The beach! Amo wants to go!” Amo exclaimed she had never been to the beach before. “I’ll go if Amo goes” Rudo stated shyly a blush dusting his checks “Sure” Riyo and Follo said. Enjin raised an eyebrow “You and Jabber?” Enjin asked, he had quite the distaste for Jabber. “I guess me and Gris will go” He said “Amo thinks Fu should come too” Amo stated “Uhh Ok” Fu stuttered. “Ok” Zanka said before going to get changed.
He walked into his room and Jabber stood there wearing his swim trunks carefully making sure mankeria wouldn’t slip off his fingers while swimming. “Everyones coming” Zanka stated matter of factly before changing without another word. Jabber jokingly cat called him as he changed eyes watching him with great precision. “Shut it” Zanka grumbled “ok mama’s” Jabber smirked “I told you not to call me that” He scoffed but his cheeks flushed “aw but you always get so cute and flustered” Jabber teased.
After everyone was ready they met in the lobby Zanka stood holding assistaff Jabber's arm around his waist Jabber held a beach bag for the 2 of them. Fu, Amo, and Rudo stood together. Fu was carrying stuff for the beach and Rudo stood awkwardly next to Amo in his bathing suit.
Rudo wore one of those cheap two piece swimsuits you would get at Target. It was a simple blue swim shirt and some darker blue swim trunks. Amo wore a one piece teal tankini swimskirt mix with cute orange polka dots. Fu wore simple red swim trunks and a black t-shirt he’d probably take off when they got there. Riyo wore a red and white striped bikini and she had a white oversized button up swimsuit cover t-shirt on. Follo wore a dark gray tanktop and light grey swim trunks. Enjin wore red yellow and black swirled swim trunks and a casual grey t-shirt for the time being. Gris wore almost the identical thing to Follo, it’s just his top was light grey and his swim trunks were dark grey.
“I’ll drive” Gris stated grabbing the keys before Enjin could and everyone started getting in the car. Enjin and Gris sat in the front two seats Amo, Fu, and Rudo in the middle row, now they had to fit 4 people into the back row and Riyo and Follo both voted that Jabber and Zanka should double up since they were dating.
So there Zanka sat on Jabber's lap grumbling while Riyo giggled at his bad attitude at having to sit on his own boyfriend's lap. Enjin was eyeing them through the rearview mirror. After a long uncomfortable drive filled with mostly Amo’s, Jabber’s, and Riyo’s voices, they arrived Zanka stepped out awkwardly trying to somehow magically make his shorts cover more of his legs Jabber got out behind him resting his hand on the small of his back.
They strayed behind the crowd a bit tho Enjin, Gris, and Fu were still behind them carrying towels and unfoldable chairs “you good” Jabber whispered softly to Zanka “yeah I’m fine just hot” He mumbled “you are hot” Jabber teased softly
The group chose a spot and set up. They had brought a few towels, an umbrella, a cooler and 2 unfoldable chairs. Zanka sat under the umbrella still holding a portable fan. “Its so hot outside why did we come here” He groaned Jabber responded with a mischievous giggle before picking up Zanka and bringing him over to the ocean dropping him in the water
“You dick!” Zanka shouted splashing Jabber quickly knocking him down as the 2 started to wrestle Amo was sitting on fu’s shoulders as he carried her around rudo followed Riyo into the water and Follo helped gris and Enjin set up.
“Ok ok I surrender” Jabber said putting his hands up as waves gently rolled up to meet the two Zanka sat on top of him pinning him down legs straddling jabber. He relaxed softly panting, rolling off him to sit on the shore. Jabber sat beside him gently kissing him. “Love u” He murmured.
