Chapter Text

“What’s that?”

That what?”

North Korea pointed to the small pochette in his sister’s hands.

“Oh, it’s just my make-up.” South Korea giggled as she took out the foundation, placed the make-up bag on the counter and applied a little bit on her face.

North Korea blinked. “Don’t they make you look… Fake?” He leaned on counter next to the sink.

“Fake?” South repeated, blending with the small sponge.

“Yeah. Like… like a doll.” North Korea frowned.

“Yes, they do make me look a bit fake.” South Korea gave a small smile. “But they make me feel… better.”

North Korea nodded. He didn’t judge his sister, he had his own strange habits as well.

“Want to try them once?” South Korea teased, pointing to the small bag.

North Korea looked at it like it was his mortal enemy.

His sister covered her own mouth and laughed. “I guess that’s a no.”

“It’s not a direct no,” the boy replied. “I’m just… skeptic.”

“Then,” South gave a small smirk as she re-began to put on her make-up. “Would you like to try at least once, brother?” she repeated.

North Korea didn’t answer for a moment. “Ok.”

South Korea smiled. “That's nice.”

Notes:

I want to specify some things about my headcannons over the siblings:
- North and South are only the personification of the country, not its leader. The presidents and them are completely different people.
- North and South are conflicted only about political matters. Except for that, they are on good terms.
- North has a low self esteem and is a little bit suicidal.
- North is bad at expressing his feelings and South is the only one who can read him well enough.
- South has a low self esteem too but she's trying her best.
