There is a rumor, spreading through the ranks of the Hyrulean army.
Like most rumors disseminated amongst the troops, it's suppressed by the command. Talk of it is discouraged. Any caught speaking of it in public are disciplined, swiftly and severely.
But still, there are rumors.
Rumors of bodies that come off the field of battle, pale, and drained of blood.
Rumors of soldiers that ought to have survived their wounds exsanguinating in the medical tent.
Rumors that the Hero—Captain Link—is not safe to be left alone with.
And like most rumors, they are born from something true.
