Blue wakes up, peacefully. She's about to start making breakfast for herself, (and the color gang since they can't cook for the life of them.) before she remembers. Her AP Bio exam is tomorrow. FUC-
Yellow notices. It's not like he couldn't tell Blue wasn't stressed, it is exam season after all. "Blue you good? You look a little stressed-"
"MY FINAL IS TOMORROW AND I FORGOT! HOW DID I FORGET THE EXAM! I HAVEN'T STUDIED!" In Blues defense who in hell puts your final exam on a Monday.
"Woah. Slow down." Yellow wants to help her.. but she hasn't taken AP bio.. "I can help you study for it if you want?"
Blue knows that Yellow knows jack about biology. "You haven't taken Bio! How do you know how to help?"
"I know some good study methods..?" She really doesn't. She just wants Blue to study and to spend time with her.
"Like what? Cramming last minute and hoping for the best?"
"That was ONE time and it was for Polish. I get a pass for that. So do you want help or not?"
"Yes. Can we do it now so I get out of making breakfast?" She doesn't want to make breakfast. Not when stressed by this.
Yellow doesn't want Blue overworking herself. "..You don't have to make breakfast every day. You get nausea and can't eat it this early in the morning, Orange sleeps in till noon, Red is vegan and doesn't eat eggs, and Green and Purple are out to visit Mango."
"But what if I want to? It's routine." She doesn't want to. She just wants Yellow to offer.
"..I'll make you breakfast if you study?"
"Good deal. You have to let me watch though, I doubt Red would be happy if we used all the eggs." Yellow better not set her kitchen on fire again.
"I'll make it after you study. I don't want you getting sick and having to deal with nausea for the rest of the day.."
"Aww. Thanks, Yelly."
Yellow starts profusely blushing. She's cute when she blushes so much from so little. "It's the least I can do after all you've done helping me with Polish."
"Sooo. We should probably get to studying before we forget." She doesn't want to study. But she really should. Plus it's quality time with Yellow!
"..Yeah."
They go to their room, which they used to have separate rooms, but through the magic of Minecraft logic, they just removed the wall separating their rooms. They sit down at a table in the room and Yellow takes out five different colored highlighters, a whole stack of index cards, and a sharpie.
"..Why do you have a sharpie?" Blue asks. Yellow never used markers.
"Couldn't find a pen or mechanical pencil." ..How did Yellow run out? She has so many supplies..?
Blue suggests something. "Steal one from Orange, you know they own like a billion. Plus, they're asleep."
"They only have a billion since it's a discontinued brand and they need those pencils for drawing. I'm also not stealing from them while they sleep! I would be a dead stick if I they found out I even touched those pencils."
"Fineee. I'll loan you one of my pens then!" Blue then throws Yellow one of her light blue, glittery, gel pens.
Yellow looks at the very informal writing tool and uses it anyways. "So. Do you want to start with making some flashcards of definitions?"
"Uhm. I don't know where to start." Blue doesn't study. This is new to her.
"Did your professor make you a study guide?"
"Yeah, let me pull it up." Blue then goes into canvas and gets the study guide and it's answer key. Yellow starts frantically writing notes on the flashcards.
"Hey. Take your time, I can't read it if you're going at the speed of light." Yellow is known for her illegible handwriting. She may write fast, but it's meaningless if Blue can't read it.
"Finee. I'll slow down." Yellow sticks her tongue out at her.
Blue watches as Yellow works. Didn't yellow have an AP computer science exam tomorrow too..? She asks her. "Yellow do you have any exams soon?"
"..No." Yellow lies. She wants to pretend that that exam doesn't exist for right now.
"..Yelly.. You gotta study for your exam.."
Yellow blushes again. "I'm fine! I'll do it later!"
"But then you never do it.. Come on, I want you to pass too." Blue doesn't want Yellow to fail because she distracted her..
"I'll do it later." Lies.
Blue knows how to make her study. Yellow knows plenty about computer science, if Blue gives her some motivation Yellow will probably go down a rabbit hole and end up studying. "..How about you yap to me about all of the fun computer science stuff and I'll talk to you about biology?"
Yellows eyes light up with enthusiasm. She immediately starts explaining computer science in-depth to fast for Blue to understand. She probably wouldn't have understood it anyways if it was being said at a normal pace. Right now she's just enjoying watching her girlfriend yap about her fixation. Yellows cute when she fixates on random subjects.
"-and the coding is used in how we interact with games! Cool right?! ..Wait didn't you want to talk about biology.. my bad.." Yellow stops yapping after tenish minutes.
Blue doesn't want Yellow feeling bad! "Nonono- that's okay! I enjoyed listening to your explanation. So biology.. where do I begin.." Blue isn't fixated on her subject like Yellow is, but still knows enough to get a conversation going. So she does that.
Yellow listens tentatively, but can't stop gazing and Blue. She is absolutely gorgeous, and always has been. Then Yellow notices a cute little yellow heart necklace Blue has on.. she wants a matching one. "Hey, I'm sorry to interrupt you, but where did you get that necklace?"
Blue blushes and stutters before saying it. "U-Um. Well. You know what, I'll tell you." Blue grabs a matching blue heart necklace from her pocket. "It's just- our one year anniversary is next week and I asked Second if they could make us matching necklaces using our hex codes so I could use them as a gift for you." She puts the necklace onto Yellow. "Do you like it!?"
Yellow looks at her matching necklace. It's so cute! And it is the exact same hex code as Blue.. a nice reminder that she's always here for her. "I love it! Thank you for the early gift! It's so pretty.. like you!"
"Hehe. I'm glad you like it." Blue smiles as she looks at Yellow, still mesmerized by the necklace.
"How did Orange even get our hex codes?" Yellow asks. She didn't remember anyone using an eyedrop tool on her.
"They can look at a hex code and identify it immediately. I'm not joking. They can look at that wall and say it's exact hex code if you asked them. It's a sick party trick. I'm pretty sure they have ours memorized." It is arguably a sick party trick.
"That's really cool." Yellow looks back at her girlfriend.. they've done enough studying right? Maybe it wouldn't hurt if she distracted her for just a few minutes-
Oh no. Blue isn't about to Yellow distract her yet. If she has to sit here and study, then Yellow will too! "Hey. I know what you're thinking. You're the one who said I needed to study. It's only been an hour. Give me fifteen minutes and then you can distract me."
"Booo." Yellow protests. Oh well. She needed to study computer science anyways.. it's only fifteen minutes.
Turns out fifteen minutes take forever to pass. They both study and fifteen minutes later she asks again.
"..What about now?" Yellow asks with hope.
"Well.. I suppose I did promise you that. A promise is a promise!" She gets up and kisses Yellow on the cheek.
Immediately after Yellow kisses her multiple times on the lips, which Blue returns.
"Slow down, how am I supposed-" Yellow kisses Blue again. "-to match that pace of yours! I'm not fast enough for this!"
"Shut up and enjoy the five minute study break that you asked for~" Blue continues kissing Yellow all over her face.
They both eventually topple onto the bed, still wrapped in each others arms.
"I love you, honeydew~" Blue says. She wants to see how Yellow will react to the new petname.
"I love you, moondew~" Yellow replies in a similar fashion before kissing Blue on cheek.
"Who cares about studying? We should just-" Blue gets interrupted by another kiss. "-do this for an hour! It'll be more fun!"
"Noo.. we should probably get back to what we were doing.." Yellow looks at Blue, who is currently doing puppy eyes at her. "..which was making out!" Yellow then leaps on her before kissing Blues neck.
They both laugh and then make out for five more minutes, ignoring the fact that Orange is knocking on the door. It's fine, Yellow remembered to lock it this time.
They both stop, breathing heavily, and grab some water to hydrate. It tastes so refreshing. Blue goes back to studying and Yellow opens the door.
"Hey. What did you need?" Yellow says, still blushing from before.
"..Wow. I guess you were busy." Orange looks down at the necklace. "I see you got that gift early." Orange laughs a little bit before continuing. "I need gift ideas for Red, since our anniversary is also soon. Still don't know how we planned that out on the same day.."
".. I'm busy studying, but I can help you in like five minutes?"
"..Sure. We can say you were 'studying'." They notice how Yellow is blushing and a little bit tired. They know that these two weren't just 'studying'.
"Well yeah! We were.." Key emphasis on were.
"YELLOW." Blue did not want Yellow saying that in front of Orange.
".. I've got to go! Bye!"
Yellow slams the door and continues 'studying' with Blue.
