Chapter Text
Starting with Book 3: The Halfling, The Dhampire, and The Orc.
Set in 4E 199, 4E 200, 4E 201, and 4E 202.
I stopped writing this halfway through the second arc of the story so here goes.
A mercenary named Skadi tracks down Bellona because she was hired to take the Staff of Magnus from Bellona. She ends up following Bell to a remote area in the Reach due to Bell closing a rift. The two fight and Skadi shoves Bellona off a waterfall after taking the staff.
Bell floats down the river unconscious and has Hollywood amnesia. She is found by a Reachman named Verren who feels sad for her. She’s still unconscious and is brought to his tribe who are Forsworn. The hagravens there sense Bell’s bloodline is blessed/cursed by Meridia. They use magic and screw with her brain making her think she’s a former indentured servant Reachman hence why she has no tribal tattoos.
Aunt Christabella begins looking for Bellona after the College wonders where their Archmage has gone.
She helps his tribe and other tribes unify THEN gets the Red Eagle sword and brings it to their elder. He then has Bellona and Verren infiltrate Makarth in the hopes of freeing Madanach. Their plan succeeds and eventually the “Second Markarth Incident” happens. Most people die but some escape to Karthwasten and to Old Hrolden.
Bellona’s brain-scrambling magic fades and she realizes what she’s done. She saves the little girl Adara and drugs Verren so he won’t know what happened to her.
Due to trauma Bellona shuts herself away in the manor her Aunt Christabella owns. Adara is put into Proudspire Orphanage since her brother died in battle leaving her all alone.
Meanwhile, Mitsu is helping a ghost handle a dragon priest and doing stuff for the Bard’s College. She gives a Dragon Priest dagger thay she found to Lucia as a promise to adopt her when she’s stable. Her Nord friend was injured getting Mehrunes Razor fixed so he’s resting in Windhelm so Mitsu has Jenessa from Whiterun helping her.
The two eventually (before the attack on Makarth) help Calcelmo find a lost research patrol in the ruins. Also, the Waking Nightmare stuff happens in Dawnstar but Mitsu is by herself. She also kills the giant and becomes Thane of the Pale. She then adopts Lucia WHO killed Braith with the dagger Mitsu gave her.
4E 200 ends and 4E 201 starts.
Christabella tells Bellona she can try to redeem herself by doing good for the world. So Bellona ends up joining the Companions under an alias since her family holds prestige in parts of Skyrim.
Bellona and Vilkas spend a lot of time with each other and he is the one to have her back when Bellona’s identity is revealed and some members are being jerks to her. He also gives her new armor and an anonymous letter. She knows it is from him but doesn’t say anything. The quest line for that whole faction plays like normal until the end where Vilkas is made Harbinger. Mainly because Bellona lied.
Mitsu joins the Dark Brotherhood and has an unhealthy obsession with Cicero WHO still loves Bellona after all these years. Mitsu finds out about Bellona and HATES HER.
Eventually, Fafnir enters the picture. He’s an orc war veteran who was looking for his missing son and daughter-in-law and got captured by the Legion. He does that whole quest like normal but he has both Hadvar and Ralof with him after sorting them out. He gets some antique Oblivion-era soldier armor which he mocks but accepts anyway. He then sets out to find his family.
He does find his daughter in law who is a Bosmer named Mira. They end up doing the Saints and Seducers quest line because Fafnir’s son was apparently taken by them. Turns out it’s the wrong gangs but they do find him. With that over Fafnir leaves to enlist in the Legion’s army.
Bellona finds out she’s Dragonborn after she and Vilkas are near Helgen. Bell and he travel back to Whiterun and while Vilkas is handling Harbinger stuff Bell talks to the Jarl. All that good stuff with the Burrow and all that happens but Bellona leaves for Solitude after she was told by the Jarl to speak to the Greybeards.
Bellona is eventually talked into fulfilling her destiny by both Illent (in Sheogorath form during Mind of Madness) and by Kharjo, whom she helped after his entire caravan was destroyed by a Dragon. She does what she has to do but between quests she finds herself being stalked by Cicero who bumped into her at Dawnstar. (After he got attacked by Arnbjorn). Also, Cicero killed Verren during this. He was looking for her and Cicero didn’t like that. He also ends up antagonizing Vilkas but their fight is stopped by Lydia, Farkas, and Bellona.
During the truce initiated by Bellona, Fafnir does the Pale Lady quest and gets the sword for himself.
Mitsu kills the Emperor.
Bellona kills Alduin, she also gaslights Delphine and lies about killing Paarthurnax. She then recruits Kharjo and two Markarth survivors into the Blades. She also adopts Adara.
In early 202 Bellona and Vilkas go to Cyrodiil because Bell’s father Kristoph is dying. Vilkas is there to comfort her. They both confess their feelings later on after the funeral.
Fafnir’s arc ends with him killing Ulfric and settling in a cove and starting a mercenary gang.
Mitsu’s arc ends with her rebuilding the Dawnstar sanctuary and promising (not really) that she won’t harm Bellona.
Then in middle 4E 202 the Dragonborn DLC stuff happens and Bellona and Vilkas are forced to go to Soltheim. Bellona obviously kills Miraak but also tries to learn more about the Skaal since her ancestor (Illent) was Skaal.
Mitsu goes there as well to be nosy (and to maybe snuff out Bellona) and ends up helping Raven Rock and gets a house there. Cicero ALSO followed her and was understandably annoyed with her and what she was probably going to do with his ex.
The story ends with Bellona and Vilkas making plans to marry.
