“Okay, you really have to go,” Lindsay says, chasing Shane’s lips as the other woman’s hands wander into her robe. “My roommate will be home any minute.”
Shane raises an eyebrow, lips quirking into a smirk. Lindsay has to physically restrain herself from melting right back into those wiry muscles. But there’s no way in hell she’s letting Brian meet his female equivalent while Lindsay can still feel three orgasms in her legs.
“Oh, you’re saying I’m not the type of girl you usually take home?” Shane shuffles into her sneakers, lingering defiantly in the doorway.
“Something like that,” Lindsay says. Honestly, she’d normally go for any of Bette’s other friends at the gallery opening--the spunky blonde, the anxious athlete. But she let herself be caught in the dangerous butch spiderweb of shaggy hair and low-slung jeans that whispered hotly into her ear and sent shivers down her spine.
“Hm,” Shane murmurs. She presses one more slow, lingering kiss to Lindsay’s lips. “I like a good girl.”
Lindsay groans, cheeks heating. “Go. Or I’ll never hear the end of it.”
When Shane winks at her from the apartment stairwell, Lindsay wonders if just maybe, she should risk it all.
