Rory and Emily were on call as they got ready to play blocktales again,Rory wanted to re-play the game after they beat it simply for fun,they were talking about a new movie that was coming out when Rory went quiet "Rory? Hello?" Emily looked at her camera, adjusting her glasses,Rory was gone and thier phone was pointed up at..the sky? Wasn't Rory just in their house? She heard a loud thud and someone yell 'ow' suddenly a person grabbed the phone,it was Rory but they looked more like their Roblox character,brown hair,plain black tank top,some jean shorts and a pair of torn up Converse, "DUDE. something fucking happened." "What? Are you okay?" Rory looked around "I think so? I also think I might maybe be in blocktales.." they flipped the camera around,the screen showed the Roblox HQ "dude,how the hell did you get there?" They flipped the camera back around to face them "I have no fucking clue..YOU BETTER COME GET ME-" "HOW" suddenly the call ended "oh God."
Rory stared at their phone as it hung up the call automatically "I'm so fucked." They muttered,they looked up and saw that shedletsky was currently getting his ass beat by Noobador,red and blue,Rory sighed "I'm really doing this aren't I?" They took a step forward,they could hear Noobador talking "Listen you two,and listen good. I need you BOTH to keep an eye on this chump,make sure he stays where he is while I go collect pay, UNDERSTAND?" red and blue both did a mock salute "YES BOSS!" They both spoke in unison it was kinda sweet,Noobador nodded and walked off "take this,bucko!" Red kicked shedletsky,who was laying on the ground "jeez red ..you really let him have it..you think he's out for good this time?" Red grinned "HA! I HAVE NO IDEA!" Rory stepped up behind them, catching blues attention "uh..red?" red was still laughing at shedletsky "RED TURN AROUND!!" Red finally turned around "yo, chump,who do you think you are?" Rory stared at them,they couldn't believe they actually had to fight children..it felt ridiculous "You're just in time!" "Cause we're red and blue!" "and well crush you!" Red ran forward, preparing to attack Rory with his sword,he jumped up and swung at Rory, before the sword hit them Rory caught red by the back of his shirt collar "WHAT. RELEASE ME THIS INSTANT!!"
red squirmed around in the air,blue giggled a little "oh- uhm..can you please put him down?" "If you two behave." Rory let go of red, placing him back on the ground,blue grabbed red by his shirt sleeve "come on,red! Let's get outta here!" Blue ran off, dragging red behind her "WE'LL GET YOU NEXT TIME!!" red yelled as blue dragged him,Rory laughed. Rory heard a thud from behind them and turned around "Emily?" She gave a thumbs up and stood up "hi Rory..I have a sword :D" she waved,her hair was up in ponytail,and her glasses were half on her face,she was wearing a purple shirt with black jeans and plain black sneakers "Hai." Emily looked past Rory and saw shedletsky "should we help him?" Rory nodded "my head...is someone there? I got pretty beat up there..th-thank you for.. scaring them away. " They nodded "it was no problem,are you alright?" "I'm alive at least,I don't think I can get up ..wait..Builderman,illumina,both..both gone..You, please,go to road town,the Ice dagger,the..swords.. please,its our only hope.." Rory looked over at Emily "we could just leave! We don't have to do this." Rory grinned "dude." They sighed "fineeee" Rory turned around and started walking away, kicking a rock "we'll go to fucking road town and go fight the stupid king.." they muttered under their breath as they walked away "are you sure you're alright?" Emily looked at shedletsky,he nodded
"yes..ah,one more question..what are your names?" Emily smiled "I'm Emily,and that was my Bestie Rory." Shedletsky nodded "I wish you both good luck." "Thank you." Emily turned around, walking faster to catch up to Rory. "Why are you such a fast walker.." Emily asked,Rory shrugged "I don't know..so..how do we get there." She thought for a moment "I think we had to go through a cave..and then.. something." "Okay.." They continued to walk for a while through a meadow and through some trees,until they reached(what looked like) a cave "do you think it's here?" "Well I would guess, otherwise it's just a dead end." Rory nodded,they walked into the cave together,it was dark and they couldn't barely see "holy shit, it's dark." Rory muttered,they grabbed their phone and turned on the flashlight "that's better." They looked around the cave before finding a latter "I guess we go up there." Rory nodded,they put their phone in their pocket and climbed up the latter,Emily following behind them.
Rory grabbed their phone back out of their pocket and shined the light around "look, there's a card." They pointed at a rock that had a bright red card sitting on top of it "oh,cool,you want it?" They shook their head "nah,you can have it." Emily walked over and grabbed the card,once she did her hp went up by 5 "wha- okay,I guess that happens." "Cool." They kept walking until they found what looked like the exit to the cave,they walked through but all it lead to was a icey and snow covered part of the cave "it's so much colder in here,damn. Why don't we have jackets.." Rory muttered "no idea .." they walked over to a small cliff edge(it's only like 10 feet tall..)"think we have to climb this?" Emily shrugged "maybe,I think we do." Rory sighed,they tried climbing up the cliff but ended up falling half way "ow. Let's try that again." Emily laughed a little as Rory attempted to climb back up,they did it this time "yay,I did it. You're turn." Emily climbed up the cliff,there were a few rocks that were sticking out on the side, almost like a rock wall at a playground,she nearly slipped when she was almost at the top but she made it up. "Yay. Let's go. I think the actual exit is over there." Rory pointed to another door shaped exit on the other end of the pathway "Kk, let's go."
They walked down the path when they heard some muffled whispers "what the hell is that." Rory looked around,along with Emily,the ground rubmled beneath them "omg." It looked like something was coming out of the ground in front of them..was that..a giant ant? "HUZZAH IT IS I, YOU'RE ROYAL MAJESTY. I SEE YOU HAVE TAKEN A WRONG TURN AND ENDED UP IN MY TERRITORY-" before the Queen ant could finish talking Rory hit her with the ball, dealing 2 damage to her,she gapsed "HOW DARE THY-" Rory hit her again,Emily was laughing "WHY YOU IMBECILE-" the Queen ant ran up and tried to bite Rory,but they dodged out of the way and countered dealing enough damage to knock out the queen "HELL YEAH!!" "Okay,okay, let's go .." Rory giggled and walked out the entrance with Emily,they were in town now,Rory was pretty sure this was road town,there was man standing the entrance "oh hello! I'm surprised you're here,the king hasn't allowed anyone in or out,well, it's nice to meet you! Try not to let the guards notice you." Rory nodded "thanks."
Rory and Emily walked off down a path,there were a couple of cabins and citizen walking around and talking,they stopped a what looked like a hotel,it was a giant log cabin with two guards standing outside "halt! Why is thou staying at the inn?" The guard on the left stopped them before they could enter "oh,there's ...a hole in our roof!.. we're waiting for them to repair it.." Rory smiled nervously, hoping the guard would believe them,he nodded allowing the two of them to enter. The lodge was surprisingly big on the inside compared to the outside,there was a lady at the front desk with a red sweater and a cowboy hat,Emily walked over while Rory looked around "excuse me, could we get a room please?" The women nodded "oh course dear" she turned around, grabbing a set of keys off a rack "room 2, upstairs on the left." Emily nodded,smiling "thank you." She walked over to Rory who was sitting at a table chatting with a bartender while they drank a witches brew "hey Hun,can I get you anything?" Emily shook her head "no thanks. Rory,I got us a room. " "Kay, I'll be there in a minute." She nodded, walking over to the large stair case at the other end of the inn.
Rory finished talking with the bartender and headed up the stairs,they walked down the long hallway to their room,they saw the door to their room and opened it Emily was sitting on her couch scrolling through her phone,she had a different outfit on "how'd you get a different outfit?" Emily looked up from her phone "oh- I changed my Roblox character-" Rory raised an eyebrow "seriously,it worked." "Okay..." Rory grabbed her phone out of her pocket, opening Roblox and going to 'Avatar' they changed their character into a blue and white striped sweater and a pair of black jeans,a moment later Rorys outfit changed to the same one as their avatar "huh,cool." Emily smiled "do you think we should go ahead and talk to the mayor?" Rory nodded "probably a good idea, It's not even noon yet,so we have plenty of time to fight the king." "Let's go!" Emily stood up, dragging Rory with her out the door.
[At the mayors house]
Mayor Monty sat at his desk quietly, squinting at a letter that had been sent from shedletsky,he wasn't quite sure what it said without his glasses,but it mentioned something about 2 visitors,he smiled not many people came to visit him but his accountant jim,the company was nice. He looked up once he heard the door to his cabin open,he looked up he could see two people, he wasn't sure who it was,but he welcomed them in anyways "come in,come in." The two people stepped inside, standing in front of his desk "hello Mayor, we've come on behalf of shedletsky.. to get the ice dagger." The mayors eyes widened slightly at the mention of the ice dagger "oh.well,the king hasn't been very happy with visitors lately,and he certainly won't give up the ice dagger." Rory and Emily knew that the king wouldn't give up the ice dagger easily,they were prepared to fight him but the mayor didn't need to know that. "well,i can make you both an I.D to get through the gate! give me one moment." Mayor Monty opened a drawer on his desk,searching through it and grabbing a piece of paper "well,not really an I.D,more of just a signature to let you through.."
"Thank you mayor.." he nodded, scribbling down his signature on the paper "please,just call me Monty." He handed the note to Emily "thank you,Monty." "I wish you both good luck." Emily smiled and walked out the door,Rory following behind her. The two of them walked to the gate where a guard was waiting "hey wait! I need to see some I.D!" Emily handed the paper to him "hm,it seems you've gotten the mayors signature!" He handed the paper back to Emily and opened the gate "good luck on your journey!" Rory walked through the gate Emily walking beside her "you okay,dude? You haven't said anything in like 30 minutes." Rory looked over at her "yeah, I'm fine. Just didn't feel like talking." "Okay!" They walked through the snowy land for a few minutes,there were a couple wolfs that had tried to attack them but they ended up leaving them alone... eventually. They found a red tent with a sleeping bag and a few pieces of paper inside,Emily walked over and picked the paper up, looking through them "these are all the accountant notes.. aren't we supposed to find him?" Rory nodded, leaning against a tree "yeahh..so we get the dynamite.
"And I get to blow things up." Rory added as they walked over to Emily, looking over her shoulder at the papers "I don't think we have to actually read these." "Yeah.." Rory walked past her and started walking off "let's go." Emily followed behind her,she was surprised was such a fast damn walker. They had made it too a small cave in the wall and walked inside,there,was Jim the accountant trapped under some rocks "please help..I got trapped under these rocks while exploring..you could blow them up with that dynamite.. please just help." Rory grabbed the dynamite,once they did it lit on its on,they tossed it onto the rocks and they blew up with loud bang(or whatever noise dynamite makes) they reached down and pulled him out from the rocks "thank you.." Rory nodded "no problem!" Jim dusted himself off and thanked them once again before walking away "so,now we have to..find the entrance to..blackrock,and,blow up the rubble that's in front of it." Emily looked over to a pathway "I think we have to go that way" she pointed over in the direction of the path "probably, let's go." Once they got over to the path,they realized there was a frozen over pond(it's like 15 feet long or something idk)that lead to the other side of the path "how do we get over there?" Emily shrugged "i guess,we just ..slide across it.." Rory muttered
"without falling?" Emily looked at Rory,who was lightly stepping on the ice "oh,I'm probably gonna fall. I'll be fine though." Rory stepped onto the ice,nearly slipping,they slowly slid on the ice,they almost made it to the other side before falling face first "ow!" Rory stood back up, they're nose was bleeding "dude. Are you ok?" Rory gave a thumbs up and stepped onto the other side of the path,Emily followed Rory, carefully scooting across the ice,she stepped onto the path "how did you not fall?" Rory muttered crossing her arms,Emily laughed "I don't know,I guess I got lucky." Rory huffed and wiped the blood that was still dripping down their nose. Emily and Rory kept walking until they made it to a small cave that led down to the entrance to blackrock it was blocked off with rocks,Rory grabbed the dynamite card,as soon as they did a piece of dynamite appeared in their hand.
They threw it at the rocks, a few seconds later it blew up "that's so loud." Rory walked through the entrance,Emily walking beside her. There were a few towns people around talking,but not much else. Rory noticed that one of the windows in the corner was almost broken,she leaned over to whisper to Emily "do you think they would notice if we just go break the window and sneak in?" She looked around "yes,Rory. I think the 20 something people here would notice if we broke a window." Rory rolled her eyes "I think we could get away with it." Rory walked over to the window,it didn't seem like anyone had even noticed they had walked into the room,they climbed up onto a stone(brick thing? Idrk what it is it's kinda like a wall) they weren't sure how to get the ball,they weren't even sure how they got it the first time,maybe it they just thought about it hard enough it would appear- about 2 seconds later,Rory had the ball in their hand "oh,well that was easy." They tossed the ball at the window and it shattered,they looked back behind them but no one had even glanced over to see what the noise was.
They gave a thumbs up to Emily who was still standing at the door,she sighed and walked over,Rory had already jumped through the window,she hopped through the window, landing on the ground next to Rory,there was some broken glass on the floor,but that was fine. "HA! YOU THOUGHT YOU COULD JUST SNEAK INTO THE CASTLE UNNOTICED?!?" Rory and Emily both jumped at the sudden voice,they turned around and saw 5 guards standing there "GUARDS!!! ASSEMBLE!!" Rory blinked,and the guards had somehow already built a small barrier that stopped them from getting past. "I'll be right back." Emily walked up a set of stairs that was on the left,Rory watched before looking back over at the guards "uh,how's it going?" Rory mumbled, nervously messing with one of her rings,there was a loud thud and the chandelier above the guards fell down on top of them,the barrier falling apart as well. Emily walked back down the stairs "did the chandelier fall?" Rory nodded and pointed over to the guards that were all passed out on the ground "yay,time to go kill the king." Rory spun around on their heel and started walking towards the door, Emily walked beside them.
they walked to the big door that was in the middle of the room,it had a gold lock on it "well damn, I forgot we had to get a key" Rory shook the lock on the door "maybe we can just break it." They pulled on the lock as hard as they could, eventually it broke,Rory tripped and fell backwards. "Yay." Rory tossed the lock to the side,they stood up and opened the door. "That is a big ass stair case." Rory looked up at the giant staircase that led up to the kings room "yeah,damn."
[After climbing the stairs because that's gonna take them like 10 minutes]
"Staircases suck." Rory mumbled as they stood at the top of the staircase "let's go fight a king!" Rory dramatically pointed forward towards the throne room,Emily sighed "we're gonna die." "Nu-uh. I still have to meet griefer." Rory started walking forward,Emily followed behind them,once they opened the door they saw the king sitting at his throne, holding the ice dagger. "I see you've come for the ice dagger,and you've defeated my guards. " His voice was cold,and distant,like his mind wasn't there all the way,his eyes looked empty as he spoke "if you really want it you'll have to pry it out of my cold. Dead. Hands."
(No I didn't completely forget they have to accidentally kill the wizard before this so let's pretend they totally went and did that and they definitely got the shrink card)
"Emily start recording I wanna do something." Emily raised an eyebrow but grabbed her phone and started recording,Rory dug through her pockets until they grabbed something,they were holding a bomb. "How'd you fit that in your pocket-?" "Video game logic. I have like 30 more, I'm broke now though." Rory tossed the bomb at the king "wha- WHERE DID YOU EVEN ACQUIRE A-" before he could finish talking the bomb went off and he took 5 damage,Rory had already thrown about 3 more at him,they all went off at the same time and he lost 15 health,he was now at 5 health. "Bye dude. Sorry." Rory threw the last bomb at him "WAIT-" The bomb went off the king fell back onto the ground,Rory walked over he was just barely alive still,they reached down, pulling the ice dagger out of his hand. "You said we'd have to take it from your cold dead hands." Emily was laughing,while still recording "let's go talk with shedletsky again so I can go see griefer!!" Rory had already ran out of the room before Emily could even stop laughing. She stopped recording and ran after Rory "RORY WAIT A SECOND DUDE"
