Linda woke up, feeling fuzzy. When had she fallen asleep? Last she remembered she had been reading a very good fic on AO3 and it was around 5AM, but now their 7AM alarm was ringing.
She started to switch in Terry, notifying them of it, as in accordance with the barely-respected schedule they had going on, but Terry spoke up.
‘It’s fine, I know you want to continue reading your fic-thingy. You can give me over at mid-day’
‘You know exactly what it’s called, you’ve literally written fanfic yourself!’
That seemed to shut him up, so she proceeded to grab their phone which was laying on their bed—something that made sense since she’d basically passed out from exhaustion last night—to continue reading her fic, only to see that their phone was on 20%, forcing her to get out of bed and brace the cold caused by winter to put their phone to charge.
In the end, it was almost sun-down and she had yet to give over the body.
