Ladybug sat on a quiet roof, waiting for her partner, the pun insistent Cat Noir. As much as she loved those puns, she'd been thinking of something funny she could do to him.
Her plan was flawless too.
Because he greeted her the same way everyday. It made it too predictable and that made this hilarious. She grinned widely when she heard that all too familiar 'thump' land on the roof behind her. He'd give it a few seconds.

"Good evening M'lady." Cat Noir and Ladybug spoke at the same time, Ladybug quickly added "Jinx!" a smirk now plastered on her face.
Cat stared at her in shock, looking like he was about to say something, then stopped slamming his mouth shut.
Ladybug lost it, she let this laugh loose, she needed it.
He looked like an utterly confused and almost betrayed cat.
That didn't help her laughter.
"I'm sorry Kitty, I just thought it was too predictable and perfect!" Her giggles didn't subside, "You've greeted me the same way, everyday for the past year, so it was the most predictable thing I had."
Cat Noir, for all his flirting and silliness, could look like a kicked kitten in the blink of an eye. And, of course, that's exactly what he did, drooped his ears and pouted.
Ladybug sighed. Puss in boots taught him too much.
Okay, now she did feel a little bad, but he teased her all the time!
Another sigh. It didn't help her resolve in not feeling bad though, who cared if he teased her, right now he looked like she'd broken his heart. And the perfect representation of a grumpy cat.
Grrr. Curse her love for this idiot.
"Cat, I'm sorry, truly." Ladybug said walking forwards and began patting his head.
He crossed his arms, closing his eyes and shifting his head to the side.
"Cat please, I promise I didn't mean to upset you."
He turned almost completely away from her, she mostly saw his back now.
She decided to scratch behind those fake ears of his.
She giggled at the unsolicited purr that escaped him. His cat tendencies always betrayed him, he was being coy upset, but she'd go along, besides, she just had to say his name one more time now anyway.
"I'm very, very sorry, I was just teasing you about stopping your puns, I never planned on making you sit with the jinx for long Kitty Cat."
Ladybug brought her other hand up to his shoulder turning him so she could see his face completely.
Cat still looked pouty, and unwilling to speak.
"C'mon Kitty, I love your puns, I promise." She stated
"Really?" There's the voice she wanted to hear. Finally.
"Yes, really Cat." She scratched his head again, another purr.
More giggles escaped her.
"Well that's just pawsitively, ameowzing!" He smirked.
Well, Cat took that to heart quickly.
What has she done. She sighed internally. At least he seems happy.
"My puns and charm have finally caught your eye." He leaned towards her.
Aaaaand we're back to flirting. He was definitely his normal self again.
"Black cats have charm, I can't deny." She flicked his bell with her now free hand, with other still scratching his head.
"But Ladybug's have charm too." She giggled again at the ever persistent purr.
"You really are a cat!" Her laughter bubbled over, as she brought her other hand back up to his head.
Cat seemed to pay no mind to her laughter, in fact he looked like he wanted to curl up on a couch somewhere and bathe in sunlight.
Oh well, at least he wasn't bothered by the jinx anymore.
