Work Text:
Link was gorgeous, Marin thought. Her pink hair curled into waves- they’d braided it after swimming in the ocean and let it set that way- and her eyes sparkling even in their bedroom with the curtains drawn. The new green dress contrasted with her violet eyes, and Marin couldn’t wait to get off this island and find a new life with her lover.
“You’re beautiful,” she reminds her. “You’re the prettiest girl I’ve ever seen.”
Eventually, a smile graces Link’s features.
“Okay, I believe you.”
Link had come a long way from the day Marin thought she’d never wake up.
