Chapter Text
Knock knock
“Who is that?” Sherman mumbled as he got up to go to his door. He opened up to see a very familiar teen in a very familiar jacket giving him a huge grin.
“Rachel McFly, what are you doing here?” he asked, leaning his shoulder on his door frame.
“I wanted to ask you a favor,” she told him. He raised his eyebrow waiting for her response. “You know how I normally skitch on your truck?”
“Aren’t you a little old for that?” He asked her. “Also you have your own car.”
“Yes I have a car now, but skitching is fun,” Rachel replied with a cheeky smile. Sheman rolled his eyes. “Well Marly and MJ want to learn how to skitch.”
“How old are they?” Sheman stood up straighter. He knows Marty McFly’s kids won’t stop what they want to do, but he doesn’t want any of them hurt. Especially the younger ones.
“They are twelve,” Rachel told him. “That is part why I wanted to ask a favor. They are too young to try on actual roads. So do you mind helping me teach them by bringing your Jeep to an empty parking lot to dive around slowly, so then I can help them learn in a safer environment?”
“And your dad can’t help you because?”
“His old truck is too tall for them,” Rachel explained. “Hell it is almost too tall for him and me!”
Sherman sighed. “When do you want to do this?”
Rachel gave a little cheer and fist pump. “Can you meet up at one section of Lone Pine Mall now?”
“Yeah yeah, I can be there in twenty,” Sherman told her.
“Thanks a million Sherman!” Rachel exclaimed. She turned around to head off. She then turned around a bit to wave, “See you in a bit!”
Sherman waved back as she rushed to get her siblings. He grabbed his hat by the door and put it on and picked up his keys, then closed the door behind him.
