I can’t save them all.

Warriors laughs. Legend thinks it sounds a bit too real, almost like he genuinely agrees with his clearly sarcastic statement. Almost like a friend. Almost like a friend he used to know, standing there with the same crossed arms, weight rested on one leg. Same fiery determination as Wild, same stubborn protectiveness as Twilight, same lack of foresight as Sky…
He needs to push him away. He can’t get attached to any of them.
He’s already attached to all of them.
