Summary:

Soobin has worked at countless hospitals before. This one shouldn't be a problem.

The rules are simple. Each patient is to be photographed before their examination. Trust the security cameras more than your own eyes. Never admit any visitors. And deny any patients that shouldn't exist.

The problem is, not everyone that deserves to be saved is supposed to survive.

ORIENTATION HANDBOOK

 

👋 – We are pleased to welcome you to the Sanctuary Medical Center family. As a member of our team, you play an important role in providing safe, compassionate, and efficient care to every patient who enters our facility. 

EMPLOYEE EXPECTATIONS

  • Arrive no later than 15 minutes before your scheduled shift.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
  • Wear your identification badge at all times. 
  • Drink coffee as directed by hospital policy. 

 

PATIENT INTAKE

🏥 - The procedure done before taking in a patient for examination goes as follows.

 

  • Greet the patient and ask for their forms. Make sure they are legitimate before you stamp them. 

 

  • All patients must be photographed before examination. Compare the picture taken with the patient currently present. If there are any inconsistencies, close the shutter immediately and notify security. 

 

  • Register the patient and print out their badge.

 

VISITOR POLICY

⛔ - This facility does not accept visitors.

 

Any individual requesting access to see a patient should be turned away without exception. Do not engage in conversation beyond informing them of hospital policy.

 

EMPLOYEE WELLNESS

🌿 - Your mental wellbeing is essential to maintaining a safe working environment.

 

Please report to the breakroom for coffee if you experience any of the following symptoms:

  • persistent ringing of the ears
  • difficulty recognizing co-workers
  • visual or auditory hallucinations
  • memory loss
  • extreme fatigue

 

Failure to follow this procedure may result in disciplinary action. 

 

DENIAL POLICY

❌ - There are varying cases where people will need to be refused at the reception window. Please close the shutter to reject a patient if:

 

  • The photograph that you’ve taken of the patient is different from their appearance in real time. Camera inconsistencies are never a mere technical issue.

If you’re still feeling unsure about a patient after taking their picture, check the security cameras.

 

  • The patient is expressing unusual or strange behavior. Do not question the patient and simply close the shutter.

 

  • They have impossible, extremely severe injuries. 

 

Be sure not to reject anyone who is actually in need of treatment.
