Human.
What does it mean to be 'Human'?
If i were to ask you to go outside and take in your surroundings, you'd think "Wow, isn't this useless?"
In retrospect it should be.
People are always at one another's throats.
Humans are always at one another's throats.
Humans experience things no being should have to go through.
Humans learn through experience.
Humans learn about things.
And still are.
By this time, we should know most things. Yet we don't.
The parts of the universe we can see are expanding by 86.4 billion kilometers a day.
By the time we expand to even see those 86.4 billion kilometers that were made today, we're probably going to be dead.
You are probably going to be dead.
In scale, we should just stop.
Let it all take us wherever it pleases.
Yet we don't.
Billions of cells work on your body to make it into a mass of tissues.
Only reason we know that is because of diligent humans who work to know more about us.
About this rock we live on.
About what joins us on this rock.
You've probably thought about it.
Taking your life.
Something held you back.
Wanting to see people around you grow and learn?
Not wanting a burden to put on the shoulders of others just to relieve your own?
Wanting to outlive those you aren't fond of?
I get it.
I really do.
I was once in a spot like that.
I tried 28 times, all of which failed.
I can't even drive yet.
I look around me and stare.
I certainly don't feel human.
People have made advancements in everything.
All for this.
For people they knew they might help.
So tell me, What does make us human?
I think 'Human' means to feel.
I think 'Human' means to experience.
I think 'Human' means to know.
It means to be what you want.
Not everything needs a label in life. Not everyone needs to put you in a box, confined within your diagnosis.
Be messy, be loud, take up space, use what you have, let yourself do what you want.
Although i might not have those abilities right now, you can.
Do it for the people you love, your friends or your family.
It's not too late to be human.
Do it while you still can.
