"Oh yeah, I'm gonna drink the entire ocean!" a short kid shouted as they jumped into the water. A sighed escape out from behind them as the older sibling mentally facepalmed.
"Frisk, please do not drink sea water." Chara stated while holding an umbrella.
"toolatecharchar" gurgled Frisk. They only stared deadpan at the idiotic nine year old as a laugh escaped out from behind them. Their girlfriend, Clover, walked near them in her yellow bathing suit, downed with a flower below the neck.
"How done Frisk evah make it through da Underground without dyin'?" she asked. "Ya said Flowey tried to kill 'em right away so there no way he allowed 'em to use the saves." Some memories of the Frisk dying and screaming over and over again surfaced to Chara's memories. The numerous resets the kid had gone through trying to find a way to save everyone. Chara pushed them all away. The two still haven't told anyone about that, not even mom.
"Honestly, Lucky, I have no idea. I'm surprised they have lasted this long as well." Chara lied and watch Clover enter the water after Frisk, hopefully to stop them from drowning. Chara started scouting the beach, it was still fairly early in the day so the beach was fairly empty save for Monster Kid and a group of Temmies. Chara didn't understand why, but they always felt afraid of that group of monsters. Eventually, they found a place to set up, in perfect distance to just about everything in the beach. As they finished setting things up they hear tiny feet run towards them with a terrible cough.
"The cough ocean won. cough" Frisk stated. Chara flicked their forehead.
"Hopefully you learned a lesson there, Smalls." Frisk only responded by blowing a raspberry before grabbing a beach ball and running towards Monster Kid. Chara then sat down on the chair wanting to simply soak in the Sun before a shadow fell over them. Clover stood over them with a smile her on stupid pretty face.
"Are ya just gonna sit thera all day or go swimmin with mah?" she asked while grabbing Chara's hands. They looked towards the ocean with contempt. They never were the greatest swimmer. After all, it is hard to learn when no adults wanted to help them, at least before they fell. Their cheeks flushed a bit in embarrassment.
"I'm.....not a great swimmer" suddenly there were picked up by their girlfriend and Chara's face turned a bright red.
"Don't worry, ah will help ya." she smiles brightly and rushes towards the water.
"CLOVER WAIT!" they state only to be ignored as the cowgirl drags them into the water and let's go. They quickly loose their footing as they struggle to swim but, before they fall underwater they are grabbed by their girlfriend and pulled inwards.
"Don't worry, ah gotta ya." she calmly states and places a small peck on their head. Chara groans before escaping the grasp and splashing water at their girlfriend.
"Bastard." they stated only for a large smile to grow on Clover. Oh no. They watch as the cowgirl dashes forwards, creating a large splash at Chara's direction. Their hair falls down and completely covers Chara's face to their annoyance.
"CLOVER!" they angrily shout but they are drowned out by the cowgirl's laugh. They lunge towards Clover but she simply dodges again with another dash as Chara face plants into the water. They stand up slowly and turn towards their girlfriend with a tilted head. A small fear runs down Clover's spine. Chara flicks their left wrist and a knife suddenly appears
"How...how did ya even hide dat? Ya wearin a tank top!" the cowgirl asks but gets no answers. After what felt like years of the two just staring at each other, Clover dashes towards the beach and Chara quickly follows. It wasn't a long chase, she had already used up her magic earlier so she was quickly caught by her partner.
"Mercy?" she tries pleading only for Chara to lean in with their creepy smile and the fear grew stronger. Eventually, Chara leaned in and placed a kiss on the deputy's lips, which immediately caused her to turn a bright red and scramble her brain, practically fainting as she is dragged out of the water by Chara. Her partner simply sits back on their chair with a smirk on their face as Clover remains face down in the sand.
