Work Text:
I saw her for the first time during the first day of school
She was mesmerising. I told her.
She blushed, and thanked me.
I didn't think much of it.
I thought she was just a pretty girl
With a pretty smile, pretty eyes, pretty clothes, and pretty voice
But she was special to me
The way she walks, like she owns whatever she lands her feet on
And as she walk pasts you, swinging her blonde hair at you, her cheap vanilla, intoxicating scent would fill your lungs like it's the only thing you can breathe.
She is divine
I used to dream of her, often, in various dreams, where we would do various things
I would woke up hazy, trying to grasp onto the memories of the dream that were already escaping from me.
And it would ponder me all day, this taunting dream I made. And when I would see her, I'd only say Hi to her.
And move on for the day
Coward.
One day she came up to me.
She had a question, about her brother, trying to... find a job ? Or an appointment ? I don't remember
I answered her vaguely, I couldn't think properly
All I was thinking about was her.
She was standing close to me, more than most people would do during a conversation
She was facing me, looking at me straight in the eyes
While my heart was racing. Her scent, her gaze, her lips, moving so close to mine, making me weak, incapable of processing her words.
I wanted to kiss her so bad
I didn't.
Of course I didn't
But we talked again afterwards.
I took my courage, came up to her
"What a weirdo" She must have think
But we kept on talking.
Getting to know each other
Becoming more than girls complimenting each other in the hallway
And one day I went to her place
"For a groupe project" We said
Of course
So we studied. We talked about history, 2nd Great War.
I would've sworn she had never been hotter but at his moment, lazily sitting on the ground, reading her text, eyes fixed on her computer, as she replaces a strand of her hair behind her ear, a pencil on the same hand. The mole she has under her eyes bringing out her brown eyes more than ever
She was so beautiful
She is so beautiful
I must have stared at her strangely, because she looked up at me and laughed
"Did I said some nonsense or what ?"
The next words, I felt like I had dreamt them
"You know you're pretty cute when you look all lost like that"
Bit my lower lip
Does she knows ?
Does she knows how that makes me feel ?
Probably
Maybe not
So I lean onto her, hold her gaze
"And you..."
I dont end my sentence
"And me what ?"
She smirks, leans into me. Now her glossy, pink lips closer to mine than they've ever been before
"Tell me, how am I ?"
Our foreheads almost touching each other, and our hair acting as curtains, separating us from the rest of the world
How to tell her ?
How to tell her she's the prettiest, sexiest girl I've ever met ?
How to tell her that I melt every time she makes some cunning comment about me ?
How to tell her I want to kiss her ? To make her forget about this damn group project ? That I would exchange anything a hundreds times to be able to be close to her like I am now ?
How ?
"Too shy ?"
Her painted nails lightly brush my cheek
They re long
And pointy
No, I think, I have to say something.
Almost desperately, I tilt my hair to kiss her.
She moves her head enough for our lips not to meet
"No. Say it. I want to hear it."
Her eyes are firm, God, I am so weak for her.
Suddenly I know what to say
Or at least what she wants to hear
"I love you"
I mean it
Her body relaxes
She finally gives in and
Our lips meet
Not my first kiss
But so far my best
It is so good
With her
I love her
So much
Her hand comes in my hair
Our breaths tangle
Our gaze meet
I feel so good
With her
My hand slides to her arm
Stroke her ear, touch her earring
Then settles on her hip
She's so perfect
So goddamn perfect
She breaks the kiss
Pulls herself out of my embrace
And look at me, a witty look in her eyes
"You haven't done your part of the group project."
"It'll wait"
But right now, I cant
"Such an impatient girl" She whispers
My stomach twists, delightfully
It's not fair she's got that much power over me
But I like it
So much
One hand in my hair
The other on my back
Moves to the side of my breast.
Oh God
I love her
So much
She whispers my name
Nothing but us
Her and me
Together
