S.T.Y.X. Headquarters…

Malleus still undergoes tests due to the aftereffect of his overblot, and also for monitoring his current physical, magical, and health statuses. That's why he’s currently in S.T.Y.X. for those said tests.
Aside from just staying at S.T.Y.X. for those, another reason for him to be there is to learn more about technological advancements, as he did choose it during their internship orientation back in his 3rd year.
His usual routine inside S.T.Y.X. was to wake up, take a bath, get dressed, eat, and take some tests before learning more about the technology inside the institute.
Of course, he wasn't completely lonely inside the institute as the older Shroud brother would keep him company for the lessons.

9:00 am…
Hallway…
“Ughh… my head hurts.” The young man rubbed his forehead as he continued, “Dang it, I shouldn't have played video games all night…” Idia thought as he felt guilty for doing an overnight binge gaming with Muscle Red.
He then looked up ahead and noticed that he was closing in on a small office tucked at the end of the hall. He pulled his card from his pocket and swiped it against the panel.
There was a soft click, then a low hum. The door slid open automatically.
As the door parted, a familiar sight opened up to him too.
Malleus sat by the table, legs crossed neatly, with a book balanced on one knee. But he wasn’t reading it. His eyes were fixed on a translucent, floating window hovering in front of him. The lines of light, symbols, and data shifted as he moved his fingers through the air.
He’d been practicing with it again. Testing the angles, swiping pages that weren’t paper, trying to understand how something so weightless could hold so much information.
The room was quiet except for the faint tap-tap of Malleus adjusting the window’s size, and the distant hum of the building.
Idia does admit that Malleus is getting good at using gadgets and other stuff, but still a bit slow to comprehend and understand some concepts, including the floating window.
The fae heard the door opening and turned his head to see the familiar figure standing in front of the door.
“Ah, Shroud. It's you.” he greeted.
“Oh, hey.” Idia greeted back.
But was that really a greeting though? Gahh, no need to overthink it. -author
Idia walked towards Malleus and sat beside him, placing the files neatly at the side of the table.
“May I ask why you're late this time?” Malleus spoke.
“Uhh…had to do some stuff.” Idia shrugged.
The fae looked at him and moved his face closer to Idia's, as he asked, “You were just playing your so called video games. Weren't you?”
Idia leaned back slightly, the tips of his hair turning slightly pink as he stuttered, “N-No!”
Malleus then leaned back and chuckled, “You do like telling some white lies to me, no?”
“H-Hey! It's not like that okay? And to be honest… you yourself just like teasing me…” Idia mumbled the last part so that Malleus wouldn't hear it, but alas, the fae caught up.
“Maybe.” Malleus turned to look back at his book and back to the floating window.
“Seven's, you're insufferable…” Idia grumbled as Malleus gave a soft chuckle.
“But, to be honest… I never knew that I could score a dragon to be my lover…”
The end.
