Chapter Text
It was just another day living so far. I was still in my pyjamas, which was pretty normal in winter, since they were warm. I had insulated boots on and a cat ear beanie, snacking on a warm piece of butter toast. It was just me and Toxic today, since Ivy was out getting more food, and Luna and Rose were also out. (Wonder what they’re doing)
I was sitting at the kitchen table, like I had been for so many days. Toxic came up behind me, scaring me.
“Rain, do something productive.” She scolded.
“I’m too tired and lazy for that,” I replied, sipping my hot chocolate.
Toxic rolled her eyes. “Well, I’m going to make some toast,” She said as I realised she was wearing a tank top.
“Aren’t you cold?” I asked.
“A bit,” She admitted, “But I look good.” She turned to look at me, her green hair matching her eyes. “Right, Rain?”
She did look good, I had to admit. “In a way,” I said. “I think you should still get into something warmer.” I said, putting my jacket over her shoulders.
She shrugged it off. “You’re ruining my fashion statement.”
“Your fashion statement is cold.”
Toxic gasped. “Don’t you dare say that!”
“Well, I just did.”
Toxic pretended to faint.
I rolled my eyes.
Toxic went to escape to her heated room, as did I.
I checked my clock and saw it read 1:46 pm. I decided it was too late to change into normal clothes and laid down to read instead. Toxic had given me a book and told me to read it, but I'd been neglecting it for almost a week now.
I opened page 1.
