“Hello?”
“Helllooo!”
“Come on, wake up already!”
I squinted and opened my eyes and saw a young boy excitedly looking down at me.
“Yay! You're awake!” the young boy excitedly shouted.
I winced.“Could you… please quiet down? My head… really.. fucking …hurts.” He looked to be around middle school age, so I assumed it was fine to cuss by him.
“Oh… sorry.” He seemed dejected for a second before regaining his cheery demeanor. “By the way, what's your name? Mine is Jaxon Cross!”
“Whoah. Slow down. Where am I?” The last place I remember being was- my train of thought was interrupted by Jaxon.
“You're in Xenon City! I can tell you’re not from around here so ill give you the spiel!”
Jaxon then proceeded to yap about Xenon city and the X and pro bladers and other random things while I tried to remember where I last was and how I got here.
And then I remembered.
And then I got interrupted by Jaxon Cross.
“Waittt, you never told me your name! What is it?!”
“Its Arturo Campopiano, but you can just call me Art”
And I'm supposed to be dead.
