The sun rose over the idol's window glowing over Haruka’s face. She's quick to wake up due to the light. The penguin girl opens her eyes slowly before shutting them once again, the light blinds her. She's quick to open them again to adjust, she feels her eyes tear up a bit. She reaches over to the wooden desk next to the bed to get her phone. After grabbing the blue phone she checks the time. Five forty one, not that bad of a time to get ready for a run. She leans upwards to get out of bed but stopped by a familiar force, she should have known. Minori would be there next to her holding on to her for dear life. Her arms are wrapped tightly around her neck.
Usually when they spoon she can wake up pretty easily but yesterday Haruka fell asleep early. She attempts to lift Minori's hand but with morning weakness and not wanting to hurt Minori she's powerless against her arm.
So sadly.
So very sadly.
She has to wake up the peacefully sleeping Minori.
Haruka taps her shoulder while whispering her name.
“Haruka-Chan..?” Haruka watches Minori open her gray eyes. She feels the arms around her loosen.
Or well- that's what she’d like to say.
Instead she felt Minori come closer to her, gripping her neck harder.
“Ah- Uhm Minori…I have to go for a run.” Haruka panics.
Instead of listening to Haruka, the drowsy Minori wraps her legs around Haruka's waist, almost trapping her on their bed.
“There's still a few more minutes till six so can’t you stay a bit longer..?” Minori pleads, speaking into Haruka's shoulder. Haruka looks over to see Minori's pleading eyes.
He understands that she's sleepy and probably not even understanding what she's saying but this seems a bit much even for Minori…
“Sorry Minori but I have to get up, even one day of not running could change a lot.”
Even with her words Minori refuses to let go. Haruka thinks it through until she comes up with a plan.
“Sorry in advance, Minori.”
The brown haired girl is confused by her words but still hangs on to her tight.
Haruka grabs Minori back and tumbles her on top of herself giving her the strength to and freedom to push herself up.
Minori lets one arm off Haruka to grab the sheets from the bed in an attempt to keep Haruka down, however Haruka ends up sitting up in the end.
“Haruka-chan don’t go just yet, it's only-...uhh…” Minori looks behind Haruka flustered.
Haruka looks behind herself to notice her phone home page, she looks at the time.
Six O’clock, meaning that now Haruka HAD to get out of bed or else her schedule might mess up.
Minori rests her head on Haruka's shoulder.
Haruka finally sighs, she slowly lays herself back down on their bed and sits Minori back to her side.
“Just this once Minori.” She smiles at her.
The two settle down on the single bed. To tell the truth they didn’t even want to bother getting a larger size, they knew they would end up close together anyway.
Minori runs her fingers through Haruka's short hair.
“Hey Haruka-chan, random question but would you ever want kids?”
Haruka tightens up, the sudden question makes her heart drop.
She attempts to stay calm and asks.
“What's with the sudden big question..?”
Minori looks to the side and ponders.
“Well I was kinda thinking. Ever since going to the grand prix, moving in together, and even getting married. I feel like we’ve made a bunch of huge steps with our lives. So I was wondering if you’ve ever wanted kids later on in life.”
Silence lingers in the air for a few seconds.
“Well…Now that I think about it. I might want a kid or maybe two. I’d like them to look like you, Minori.”
“Huh…”
Haruka feels Minori’s face heat up.
“Though at the same time I'm not sure if we’d be able to make biological kids.”
Haruka cuddles into Minori's chest and wraps her arms around her waist.
“Of course unless we get a reciprocal IVF.”
“That makes sense…I think I'd want the kids to have Haruka’s eyes, they're really pretty.”
Haruka blushes before noticing Minori going limp.
“You fell asleep huh…”
Haruka squeezes Minori.
“Well I hope they're as cheerful as you.”
She adds before falling asleep once again next to Minori.
