"Ow! ow! ow! dadddd!!!! it hurts!" Wemmbu winced in pain Minutetech is brushing his awfully tangled matted purple hair. "Im sorry wemmbu. but this wouldn't happen if you brushed your hair everyday! It gets all tangled up and big knots" *Minutetech sighed as he finally got the last knot out of his hair and then got the hair tie out of his mouth. "How do you want your hair? pigtails, pony tails, down-"
"I want pig tails, Dad! "
"Pig tails it is... you never really cared about looking feminine don't you, Wemmbu" Minutetech said as he put Wemmbu hair up into two long pig tails. Minutetech smiled when he saw Wemmbu admiring his hair already.
"Mph! no! I don't care what other people think as long as I look like royalty! and the strongest!" Wemmbu giggled as he and Minutetech stood up and grabbed minutetech rough hands. "Come on! I wanna see Eggy! He's probably in his room writing!" The young demon giggles once more as he continues to hold his dads hand, leading him right to Egg and Wemmbu room in the end dimension.
As Minutetech gently knocked on Eggs door. before he could speak Wemmbu barged into the room immediately running to Eggchan not caring how about loud he is being. Minutetech groans seeing Eggs unbothered expression while Wemmbu clinging onto him.
"Wemmbu. next time make sure you get eggs permission! you can't just barge into somebody's room! He might want privacy?"
"Hey! This is my room too! Plus Egg doesn't mind at all! "
"Don't worry sir. all of my seeing eyes saw this coming. His vehement behavior is nothing special. He is a very eccentric person as we all know." Eggchan said in his usual flat and monotonous tone. Egg is always blunt in his own ways. Minutetech thought it was always weird that Egg always seemed so nonchalant and odd for a six year old. But despite it he is proud that Eggchan is a gifted kid and can read and write better than Minutetech could.
"Eggy! stop using big words! "
"Wemmbu, I suggest that you read more if you don't know these words. these words are advanced for our ages. Though. you are a little behind. "
"Mph! fine!"
Wemmbu turned to Minutetech pouting. pretending to be unbothered by Eggchan statements.
"dad! can you read us a bed time story when it is night! so I can expand my knowledge!"
Minutetech smiled and nodded his head as an approval for Wemmbu while he giggled about their small little argument. Trying to hide his giggles so Wemmbu massive ego won't get hurt.
"yes. but you're going to read with me alright"
"YAYYYYY! " The demon squealed in excitement its wings fluttered tail moved side from side in a fast motion. The angel looked back at wemmbu in joy then looked back at his book to write about something. Though minutetech knew that Wemmbu would probably fall asleep before they can read a bedtime story.
Minutetech never thought he would be a dad of two kids. until a couple months ago he was in the overworld when he saw an angel eyeball flew towards him frantically. he decided to follow it and led it to an injured demon covered in wounds bleeding. Once he found out those two kids were orphans he adopted both of them and took them to the end dimension. at the end of the day minutetech is just greatful he has two kids to take care of. He will cherish those kids as long as possible.
~~~~~Somewhere in the end dimension~~~~
In the endless void on a floating island a bright star appears. It kept getting brighter and brighter and shaking rapidly until it eventually exploded into a void-like-human creature. The creature is fully black with black small black horns, wings, tail, and claws. The void demon is startled and confused on how he got here. But nevertheless he started to walk around the island. Running away from Endermens he accidentally looked in the eyes, getting on island to another. Felt like eternity until the void demon got onto the main island. Looking at the end portal as he slowly walks up to it. The void demon is already exhausted and his feet and legs are cramping from running and walking for hours trying to get away from Endermans. But then he was startled by a small purple stubby hand grabbing onto him.
"Dad! there is a weird naked creature trying to get into the end portal!" Wemmbu was confused because he'd never seen this void demon and wonder why was he naked in the end! Wemmbu felt like he was holding onto a peasant in his hands. The void creature hissed, his tail started to move around rapidly trying to get out of the purple demon hands grasp.
"l-let go of me!"
"No! you can't go into the portal! dad said not to do that! don't disobey! it's dangerous to go out there!"
~~~~~with minutetech and eggchan~~~~
Minutetech was reading eggchan books and is proud on how much he can write and how advance he is with reading. Just an usual father and son talk. Minutetech was stretching his body out until he hears wemmbu. He heard a crack in his back due to him being startled by it and being in pain.
"Ah-shit!"
"are you okay sir?"
"yes I am-the portal?! lets go egg!"
Minutetech said as he ran out of eggchan & wemmbu room while eggchan was trailing behind him. Eventually both minutetech and egg came running to them and minutetech grabbed the void demon and looked at it in the face... he knows how the end dimension worked. He already knew that this voidling doesn't have parents or anyone.
"just another voidling who appears by a bright star. Just like me. come on you are staying with us. " Minutetech sighed because he knew he had to adopt this new creature hybrid. because I mean who will adopt this hybrid in the overworld?
"so is this new kid staying with us dad?" Wemmbu questioned, following his dad alongside egg.
"Based on the context clues of this erratic situation that not even my all seeing eyes saw. Sir minutetech is gonna take care of this kid and will be apart of this quaint family. It feels like a Phantasmagoric I am in. "
"uhh... the most I understand was that this kid is staying with us in this odd family."
"ding ding ding"
Both wemmbu and egg laughed at eggs dry humorless jokes, grabbing clothes to give to the new kid. eventually all three of them came up with a name for the void demon. "spoke" minutetech was trying to give him a normal name but the kids insisted because neither minutetech nor eggchan have normal names. and probably wemmbu..
Minutetech left all three kids alone by themselves as he was cooking something for dinner so all four of them would eat. Spoke was still confused by all of them but felt comfortable being with them and getting used to them. He wasn't really talking to Egg nor Wemmbu but he was listening to them talk about their day and what Minutetech is cooking until Eggchan stood up and walked towards Spoke.
"Here."
Eggchan held out a rainbow bandana In his hand and watched Spoke look amazed at the colors. "Do you want it? I can put it on you" The pale Angel said to the void waiting for approval. "u-umm... y-yes" Egg went behind Spoke and wrapped the neon bandana around his head and tied it around "You're not as finicky as Wemmbu." The angel said as he watched the stubborn demon gasp and be fussy about what he said. "Excuse me! you are already complimenting the new one here!" Wemmbu said his tail shaking in annoyance. "It is not a compliment Wemmbu. It is a comparison." Spoke watched as the demon and angel fought about it. They managed to get along quickly laughing and giggling all together having the most fun in their life.
After dinner Minutetech was tucking the kids to sleep. Wemmbu and Eggchan were sleeping next to each other while Spoke slept on the top bunk in his new warm clothes. Wemmbu and eggchan fell asleep fast before they could read a bed time story together. Minutetech could tell that spoke was having a hard time falling asleep. he stood at the door way and whispered.
"Hey Spoke?"
"... u-um... y-ye-yeah?.."
"Are you comfortable here? do you need me to read you a bedtime story? "
"U-uh...i-im just..."
"Scared?"
"y-yeah... i-i hate the dark.. i-it feels the same as when I randomly a-appeared... in this... world.. "
Spoke fidget with his hands Minutetech smiled as he walked back into the room to turn on a night light making the room dim softly.
"Is this better? not too dark not too bright? I remember when Wemmbu used to be scared of the dark"
"y-yes... th-thank you sir"
"You're welcome. And I don't mind if you call me dad. alright? "
"o-okay... "
Minutetech then walked towards the door and slowly closed it but before he did he slightly peaked out making sure Spoke is okay
"anything else you need"
"N-no.. I'm good dad... th-thank you..."
"Mhm... goodnight Spoke"
"Goodnight dad"
Spoke watched as Minutetech closed the door, before turning on his back and sighing. He was staring at the ceiling when suddenly he heard a soft giggle and then a whisperer sounding like the purple demon and the pale angel.
"s-stop! thats not funny"
"said the one who can't spell."
Spoke quietly sat up and looked down trying to see both Wemmbu and Egg. He thought they already Asleep but it seems like they were still wildly awake. Spoke finally whisper to both of them.
"I thought you guys were asleep?.."
"Nah! we both just pretend because I didn't really wanted to read the bed time story dad had for us." Wemmbu whispers to Spoke with an embarrassing tone from earlier. Egg whisper to spoke trying not to laugh.
"This man dosent know how to spell beautiful. That's why we're laughing. Maybe if you read a book or two you will be able to spell it wemmbu!"
"S-shut up! "
The whole night the three kids never slept and just kept making funny jokes and telling stories as they all laughed making an attempt to keep quiet. It was a memory for all of them to cherish one day.
~~~~~~With Minutetech~~~~~~~
Minutetech was still in his room not being able to sleep. He was writting about the potion he made until he coughed really hard. He glanced at his hand making his heart drop. Blood appeared on his hand. he knew what symptom it was.
"Bl-.... Blood... Fuck... "
Minutetech knew about how Voidlings work. On how they appear and then die. Voidlings like Minutetech and Spoke are born around the age of 4-7 from a bright star that explodes. They die of old age at around 30-40 years old. Then around 25 years old they start to experience the symptoms of old age. Minutetech is already 26. Minutetech starts searching through his books immediately trying to find some sort of medicine he wrote to help him survive longer and remove the symptoms. he eventually found what he was looking for in a book he wrote three years ago.
"Okay... seeing the ingredients to make the medicine I have to go to the overworld and the nether to get it..."
Minutetech sighed because he doesn't want to leave the kids alone in the end dimension nor bring them to the overworld and nether with him due to the dangers. He is really overprotective of his adoptive kids. He took a deep breath in and talked to him self.
"Wemmbu is 7 years old, Egg is 6, and Spoke is 4. fuck. I actually might need to bring them with me to the overworld and nether. I can't let them out of my sight. Let's just hope Wemmbu isn't too reckless and causes a commotion because he thinks he is so awesome. "
Minutetech was wandering around the island/his house to prepare the stuff they need for all four of them for tomorrow. It was 12:34 Am when he was finally done preparing everything. He laid in bed hoping the medicine works so he can stay with his kids. instead of dying at thirty years old. He wants to at least make it to his fortys. But for now he needs to get some rest for the eventful day tomorrow.
