Chapter Text
5up glances at Apollo’s door. He had asked 5up to meet him at his office early in the morning.
‘Here goes nothing.’ 5up thought, reaching out to open the door. After he opened the door, Apollo’s gaze fell on 5up, his eyes slightly softening before going back to a neutral expression.
“5up.” he acknowledged.
“Apollo,” 5up responded. Apollo walked to his desk. “Please, sit.” 5up walked towards the chair conveniently placed in front of Apollo’s desk.
Apollo gathered some files from his desk before pulling one out, with a triumphant expression.
“This is your new target. His name is Floris but he goes by Fundy, and he is currently stationed in the UK.” He passes the file to 5up. A bit of information on ‘Fundy’ was shown on it. “I will be sending you, Hafu & Tubbo on a flight, with a false identity. If anyone asks, your name is Enzo Ufive, and you’re visiting a friend.” 5up blinked. Why was this Fundy important to Apollo?
“I understand. When do I leave?” 5up asked after briefly collecting his thoughts. Apollo glanced at his calendar.
“Tomorrow. There is a person that you will meet once you get there.” He responded. 5up shrugged. It seemed simple enough.
“Alright, Apollo. If there’s nothing else, may I exit?” 5up said formally. Apollo glanced at him.
“One more thing, could you let Hafu know that I want to see her?” Apollo responded.
“Sure,” 5up said boredly, then exited the room. As he walked towards his own room, he was intercepted.
“5up!” a male voice called, tackling him to the ground. Instinctively, 5up attempted to attack the person but stopped.
“Sleepy! I told you to stop tackling me.” 5up scowled, but helped Sleepy up & ruffled his hair. He continued to walk, now with Sleepy next to him.
“Sorry,” he said, not sounding sorry at all.
“So, what’d DumbDog want?” 5up thought for a moment, noting that Sleepy still called him DumbDog.
“I’m going on a mission to the UK with Hafu and Tubbo,” 5up responded to his friend, then paused before adding on.
“The target is a popular YouTuber named Fundy. Also, do you not know that he does not like being called DumbDog much anymore?” Sleepy’s eyes widened.
“I do know!” Sleepy retorted. “I’m just used to it! Anyway, who is this Fundy and why is he so important?” 5up looked at Sleepy.
“I’m not actually sure. I was just asking that myself.” 5up admitted, keeping his pace the same, but stopping when he reached his room, fumbling for his keys.
“Where the- nevermind.” He felt the metal key and clicked it into the lock, opening the door and inviting Sleepy inside. Hafu was already there, taking a nap. 5up approached her bed and shook Hafu.
“Hafu. Wake up,” 5up muttered. Hafu opened her eyes, and looked directly at him.
“What?” She snapped. 5up stared at her, unamused. Her gaze softened.
“Sorry, 5up. What’s up?” Hafu sat up.
“Apollo wants you to meet him in his office, fast as possible.” 5up ignored her apology and got to the point. Hafu raised a brow, but didn’t ask questions and rushed herself out. 5up turned to Sleepy.
“Well, what’s new with you?” 5up asked absentmindedly, taking a pack of chips from the cabinet.
“Not much,” Sleepy responded, eyeing the snack.
“I visited Janet today. She’s training a new recruit.” He said after a brief pause. 5up paused, his fingers inches away from 2 bowls.
“You’re kidding.” He responded, then grabbed the 2 bowls.
“His name’s Antfrost. He has potential, but I’m unsure if he is worthy yet.” 5up poured the chips into the bowls and then passed one to Sleepy.
“Interesting.” 5up replied, careful not to switch his tone. Sleepy settled on the beanbag chair as 5up laid on the sofa. They settled on watching some gambling TV show, and ate their chips. Surprisingly, a character had resembled 5up, almost directly. Sleepy had laughed about it for a while.
At around 9pm, Sleepy went back to his own room, and Hafu returned, with information that there was one other target in the UK. A couple minutes after Hafu went to bed, 5up walked to his computer, sat down and switched the tab to YouTube and searched ‘Fundy’.
A few results popped up, but the most popular was a Minecraft fox with a few million subscribers. The content was mostly Minecraft, nothing really interesting, or incriminating. “Why would Apollo want me to kill a person like this? Boring,” 5up mused, shutting off his computer. He settled into his bed, thinking about cover-up ideas, how to take care of Fundy, and of Apollo's weirdness. Eventually, sleep came.
