Chapter Text
Today was a ‘laundry day’, as Grace said. He had to clean all the clothes we used.
He told me there was a few spare clothing from the other members in the Hail Mary packed in their bags before they passed.
“I hope you don’t mind wearing Ilyukhina’s skirt, I myself wore it when I woke up after the coma, we are roughly the same size when you consider skirts so I think it’ll fit!” Grace looked at me, I looked at him, then the skirt, then him again.
”Okay.” I didn’t want to seem ungrateful by refusing this article of clothing, so I took it and left to the restroom. In Eden, the guys would be penalized for just even thinking about wearing something ‘girly’. But, I’m not there anymore, I don’t have to worry about wearing a skirt just because it’s laundry day.
I stood in the bathroom staring in the mirror.
I didn’t think I’d still be so tied with Eden that even when I’m away from them, I still fear the punishments I may bear.
I put the skirt on after a minute of hesitation.

.
It’s . . . Not too bad, I guess . . .
I don’t know how to describe it.
It’s nice, but strange. I’m uncomfortable with my body, always have been, even before the mutations. But, just simply wearing it makes me feel like those are lesser problems.
I don’t like this.
