Beautiful flowers bloomed inside. Vibrant and bright, little dashes of color strewn about the greenhouse. While their leaves and vines ran down, green a background for the beautiful colors of life. Pots of different muted reds, browns, and oranges were beneath them. With rocks strewn about the bottom of the floor.
The door to the greenhouse opened. Revealing two people, who walked after one another. Rushing inside, the one near the back closed the door. Sure that it wouldn't be too harsh on the delicate walls. Before they stepped in further, met with only her.
Azure only glanced at the door, before sitting down. Crossing her legs as she did. Two Time followed suit, their nimble body fast in the action. And they both simply sat across from one another. Breathing and watching the other that sat across.
"So..." Two Time only stared at her after she spoke. Before they started to fidget with their fingers, they could only pray to Spawn above. Hoping that they wouldn't speak anything that they would regret. It didn't help that their heart beat faster at that moment, an odd sensation.
"Uhm..." Azure could only return the gaze as they now spoke. Awkwardness tinted the air around, she was sure that even one of the plants recoiled from the tension. But she could only bite it down, hope that maybe it would be broken by something.
By the 3rd minute of silence, she was practically about to get on her knees and pray to the Spawn. It was torture to just stare at Two Time, and they stared back at her. If Azure could cry right then and there, she would already be deep into sobbing. Boredness nipped at her mind, and to make it worse. Awkward tension clung to the two!
Practically a match made in hell! Azure had only one wish, for Two Time to just speak. She had already said so much before they got in here, there would be no point in speaking inside the green house. So she simply stared at them, waiting for them to speak. Even if it was something stupid. She wouldn't really mind, just at the very least. Something to be said!
Two Time was wondering when Azure would start speaking. Biting their tounge, they figured. Maybe she just needed a moment to collect her thoughts? After all, she was being just quite vocal. As much as they wished to speak it, they only stared at her.
Had it been about 4 minutes since they got in here? Yes, it had been. Has either of them yet said the words? Absolutely not, but Two Time had patience. They knew that they could hold on, but it was extremly awkward.
With the amount of staring they had, Two Time could map out all of Azure's eyes. Infact, they were sure they had seen her soul at this point. Staring into her eyes was wonderful, but with the tension swirling around them. Two Time could only hope she would finally speak.
It had been about 7 minutes. Neither of them had spoken yet, infact it seemed they had stopped trying. Two Time had dying words in their throat. Azure only stopped herself, seeing that she had probably already spoke enough as is. Silence was really the only thing in the air. Plants that surronded them seemed to be watching, waiting almost for who would speak.
Maybe Two Time would get the hint that Azure was biting back her own words. Or maybe, just maybe Azure would speak even more today. Neither could take it any longer. Patience once held was now thinner then a string. And restraint that felt heavy as chains, were starting to slowly become lighter then a feather.
"I'm sorry Timey." She breathed out, finally letting out the thing she had been wanting to say. They only looked down, suddenly unable to look at her eyes. "It's fine dont worry. Just uhm..." Two Time could feel the tiny bit of blush spreading.
Whether it was from embarresement, or thinking back to what exactly she had said earlier. "I mean...it kinda isn't. I basically just told the whole commune that we have nightly visits, and got accused of adultery. I didn't deny it either..." Two Time shook their head. Head bowed down slightly, "No, it isn't your fault. It was true and lying is a sin, although I do wish we could change the fact you didn't deny it. I'd still rather be in here."
A sigh of relief could be heard, coming from her. She had a slight small smile. Before Azure leaned forward a bit, making Two Time left their head back up. Staring right back at her eye's, and in them was a new look. A new spark that seemed to light up her iris.
"Thank you Two Time." They only smiled, trying to hide the tiny hints of red on their skin. She saw their poor attempt, and could only laugh inside at the sight. It was so adorable to her. Then the two were back to simply staring, but it wasn't as tense as before. Not a cloud of awkwardness that was held between the two.
Azure only shifted, scooting herself to be next to Two Time. While they only watched, eyes drifting to her every moment. Now they both sat on the floor, facing the same way, both right next to each other. It was usually normal for the two, but now it felt kind of weird.
Maybe the thought of the two being accused of adultery passed through, or maybe that accusation helped them both realize something. Azure could really only wonder, hoping that maybe she'd know the same of Two Time. After all, she never wanted to let them go.
She only glanced at them, noticing how they simply went back to staring forward. Eyes that once watched her, turned away. Although she did notice how the tip of their ears were now a red color. That brought joy to her heart, it was always so cute on them.
Two Time only swallowed, feeling her eyes on them. Their heart beat faster, blush on their ears. With a sudden impulsitivity they blurted it out. Not daring to let themself think before they did so.
"Azure I love you."
She whipped her head, eyes widened by the statement. Blinking, she saw them stare at her. Almost expecting something, Azure could only sit in shock. Simply staring at them, while her brain turned. But it seemed those words wouldn't register in her brain.
"What?" She asked, more of a habit then an actual question. But it prompted Two Time to turn their upper body. Grabbing her hands together, and holding it in theirs. Two Time could only stare into her beautiful eyes. Opening their mouth to repeat the words.
"I love you Aspen."
Azure only stared back at them. Shock freezing her over, as she felt their hands. She could really only feel disbelief at the words, wondering just what exactly that meant for her. While yes, she had a crush on them. She truthfully didn't deserve them, and to have them confessing their love to her? It almost scared her, where her heart felt at home once. Now, it jumped out at Two Time's sudden confession.
"I love you too, Two Time." With a tiny shake in her voice, she finally said it. And she swears that she saw Two Time physically glow. Smile beaming, and their grabbed hers tighter. They practically were like a happy dog, she was sure if they had a tail, it would've been wagging at this point.
The two simply stared at eachother, holding hands. Something stirred inside them, and with a newfound courage. They brought their hands to her face, before asking what they hoped was a simple question. "May I kiss you?" Azure only nodded, feeling their hands cupped around her cheeks.
It was magical, that feeling of a kiss. As if when both of their lips connected, nothing was ever wrong. That both of them belonged together, and they were closer then ever. Azure wished she could forever be in that kiss, but knew she couldn't do that. So she pulled away from the kiss, still feeling their hands on her cheeks.
Two Time only seemed to stare deeper, new sparks in their eyes. Feeling her warm cheeks, it only made their love churn. A desire to be closer came to them, and to forever be in this moment. If Two Time could wish to re-live this forever, they would do it. Feel the love that they both shared, coursing through their veins.
Azure blinked, and only silence was between them again. Before she leaned forward, kissing them again. Unable to bear not being connected anymore. Heaven was shared once again, and Two Time only moved their hands. Opting to instead have them around her waist.
A tiny shock of surprise came from her, not expecting them to hold her so much closer. They leaned into the kiss, practically melting into the feeling. While she only felt her heart jump, excited at the fact she could see them in such an intimate way.
Saliva that was once connected pulled apart once again, and the two simply stopped. Breathing for a second. Two Time still held her, while Azure sat there. But she lifted a hand to Two Time's heart. Wishing to feel their pulse, Two Time let her. Joy jumping within them at her touch.
The two sat, feeling one another. Breathing in and out, simply existing near another. A comfortable silence settled, no longer was there a tension swirling in the air. Instead, there was a simple, almost loving air that flowed through the room. Passed with each breath they both took in.
Two Time leaned forward, fully wraping their arms around Azure. Pulling her into a hug, before she shuffled. Hugging them back, holding onto them even tighter then they had been. This was heaven on earth, a paradise that they both shared between each other.
"So...are we partners?" Azure asked, timid with the question. Nervousness plucked at her, but it was all forgotten at the sound of their voice. "Yes, of course we are my dear Aspen." A faint blush now spread on Azure's face.
There in the greenhouse, were the two. Hugging and holding each-other, an intimate moment. One where Azure decided to make her love known. Devotion towards a friend now burned brighter, and she had to make the light known. Glow and make sure that it was visible, known to the air and them.
"Two, I love you so, so, so much. I promise I will stay with you as long as I can. You're the best person I have ever met, and I'm so happy you feel the same way. I swear I will try my best to keep you happy and fufilled. My heart feels at home with you. And I can only hope you understand how it dances at the mention of your voice. I don't think you can even guess how much love I hold for you."
Two Time decided to try and guess, maybe as an attempt to lighten the mood. "Is it as much as your mozzerella sticks?" She only smiled at the question, before nuzzling even closer. Opening her mouth once again.
"I love you more then that." They stilled, shocked at how devotted she seemed. Two Time could only feel the warmth in her arms, that one that wrapped around them so comfortably. As if able to shield them from the world, or at least from the commune's accusations towards the two.
"I will always be here for you, I swear on it my dear. Even if Spawn gets you before me, I'll be there. Chasing after you, because I love you. I will always love you forever Two. Till death wilts, and life blooms. I promise to love you." Azure stopped, before adding on another word. "Forever."
