"It's a person!" Wind insisted, against the sighs and eye rolls of the Captain and Sky both.
"It was person-shaped," Time agreed. "But we knew it could transform. It taking on that shape in the battle doesn't make it any less monstrous."
"People can be pretty monstrous, sometimes," Wild cuts in, to Wind's great relief.
"So, what?" Legend scoffs, "You want to hold the Shadow's hands and talk about it's feelings?"
"No," Wind wanted to scream. "All I'm saying is that maybe it's a person. And people—"
"Can be reasoned with," Four jumps in, eyes wide. "People can change."
