Work Text:
It was a nice warm day on the Forest Moon of Endor and the three Jedi Masters were making their morning cup of tea in their little cottage. The oldest Jedi was the wise Great-grandmaster Yoda, the middle Jedi was a bit disagreeable and had a habit of getting into trouble, the smallest Jedi was barely a Master and he still had much to learn. Obi-wan was carefully placing the tea bags into the cups as if it was a delicate art that had to be done perfectly. Despite being the least experienced in the ways of the force he was the best at making tea and therefore every morning it was his job to supply his Master and Great-grandmaster with their tea. Suddenly Yoda sat up in his chair and stared at his Grand Padawn, Qui-gon. “A disturbance in the force I feel, go we must!” he hoped of his chair and waddled over to the door. Qui-gon followed snatching his lightsaber of the counter. Obi-wan looked around the room, hoping to see his weapon but he couldn’t see it, there was no time to find it, he jogged out of the house after Yoda and Qui-gon.

It was purely a coincidence that Little Green Sheev was passing by the three Jedi Master’s house and saw them leave in such a hurry. As he neared the still open door he caught a whiff of freshly made tea. He eyes flickered reminding him of how tired he was. Those Jedi, it really was their fault for leaving the door open, he thought as he slid into the house. On the counter sat three mugs steaming with tea. He reached up and picked up the largest one, with a green cartoon creature on the front. He sipped the brown liquid and he nearly chocked on the sweatiness, “What a weirdo!” he said placing the mug back, “Too much sugar, got oodles of it probably!” The next mug was white with a little image of the Jedi council with a cross over and some scrawly writing reading: Totally not plotting disobedience. Little Green Sheev picked up the mug and put it to his lips, he nearly spat the tea out, “Black tea!” he cried in outrage, “Where’s the milk?” he groaned looking at it with disgust. He sighed looking at the finale mug, hoping that this one would be edible, he had high hopes because of the slogan on the side: Tea makes the world go round. He let out a sigh of relief as he drank the tea, “Perfect,” he breathed, it was so good he couldn’t help himself he drank the entire mug and placed it back on the counter empty.
Next he headed upstairs, he had to do a double take when he was met with one very bland and Jedi like room. The lack of red and black disgusted him, the Jedi had no taste or interior decorating skills. He was so irritated by the sloppy paint work that he pulled out a piece of paper and wrote a little note:
You NEED to get a new decorator,
What do you call this mess?
I can highly recommend
Maul’s gotta decorate it!
(Best people around)
He placed the yellowing piece of paper down on one of the bedside tables, he really hoped they took his advice. He looked around the room and his gaze settled on the cloaks hung up by the door. He assumed they were spares seeing as the three Jedi Masters who had fled the house in a hurry had all been wearing cloaks, he shrugged his shoulders, after all what if one cloak got a stain you would need a spare. He picked up the first one off the hook and tried to pull it over his shoulders, the light fabric was far to small to fit him and after all it wasn’t really his colour. He dumped it one the floor. The other two were a similar shade of brown. The next one he tried on swamped him and left his swimming in a flood of brown. He hauled the cloak that was quite a few sizes too big, off him and added it to the pile. The finale one looked more his size, it fit perfectly and snuggled into it enjoying the warmth.
Once again he scoured the room for anything else, sitting on a chest of draws were three objects each very different from the others. Cautiously he approached them and gingerly reached out and picked up the blue square that glowed and had golden patterns on it. The lines near the corners were thickest and Little Green Sheev tried to twist them but the remained in place. Frustrated with the useless object he shoved it back onto the piece of furniture. He them picked up a rather worn scroll. He twisted it over in his hands and stared at the curly writing, however hard he tried he couldn’t make out any words, it all looked like it was written in along forgotten script from an age long before him. Annoyed that it with held knowledge from him he dropped it on the floor, “Useless,” he muttered under his breath as he did so. Finally, he curled his fingers round the cylindrical shape of the object, excitement flooded him prompting him to ignite the blade. A beam of blue light flew out from the end, it hissed and cackled when he swung it around, it wasn’t until he heard the crash that he noticed he had sliced the chest of draws in two. “Oops,” he cackled bouncing back down the stairs, giddy at the thought of causing so much chaos. He pocketed the lightsaber and made his why out of the Jedi’s house before they returned, he wished he could stay for the look on their faces but sith training called.

The disturbance had been minor and the three Jedi Masters had arrived back at their house, Obi-wan was already in a foul mood because he knew the tea would be cold. The pushed open the door and settled in. Obi-wan walked over to the mugs still on the counter where he had left them, gasping he said, “Someone’s drunk our tea!” The other two shuffled over and peered at their mugs, only Obi-wan’s was completely empty. “Complement take that as you should! Like your tea someone does!” Yoda squeaked smiling to himself. “That’s because it is normal tea Master,” he replied looking down at Yoda. The Great Grandmaster ignored him and proceeded upstairs now aware of the intruder.
After having fully checked downstairs the other two finally joined Yoda in the bedroom, they were shocked to find their cloaks in a heap on the floor. Qui-gon picked up his and slid into it, he had left his original one at the sight of the small disturbance, as had the others. Yoda followed suit not wanting to be cold, but Obi-wan couldn’t find his cloak, it was nowhere to be seen, it was not under the bed or left in a heap on the floor. Anger boiled in the Jedi Master, that had been his only spare cloak, he calmed himself down like a proper Jedi should. It was then that they noticed Qui-gon’s scroll lying unceremoniously on the floor and Yoda’s slightly wonky holocron. “Where is your lightsaber Obi-wan?” Qui-gon asked turning to his former padawan.
“Dank Farrik!” he said.
“Obi-wan!” scolded his master.
