*Lucifer's POV*
As I sit in the common area of the hotel sipping a tea al made me and him sitting next to me as we watch ally and vagileana talk, Charlie runs in panting hands shaking, doubling over.
Vagatha and I stand up, her rushing forward and I staying still.
"Babe?! Are you okay? What's going on" she questions Charlie.
After a moment Charlie stands up, "vaggi... mom called......."
"what?" Vaggi says confused and i tense up.
"what" I ask stronger.
"i was sending her a voicemail as always and i put my phone down and she called (this is italic) after so long she just called like no time had passed, like everything was normal"
Ally speaks up "so let me get this straight, its been i dont even know how long anymore and she decides to waltz back into your life?"
Charlie nods, wiping her eyes and I walk over to hug her "yeah she said she wants to see me again, to see you (italics again) dad" I freeze, stopping my walk.
"i-"
"charlie did you invite her?" Vaise asked slowly, cautious.
"what? no no! i didnt not yet"
"my dear do you even want to? this is a lot for anybody i would suppose" Alastor speaks
"I- im not sure anymore al... i dont know if I want to, maybe someday? it would be nice to show her everything and know what she's been doing" charlie pauses thinking.
During this pause I go back to my seat gripping my dear season mug tightly, finger tapping axiously on the side. after a moment i feel a hand on my shoulder i look up and see bambi.
"you allowed to freak out darling. this cant just be hard on her" He says tone soft though his radio filter doesnt falter
"thanks bambi" I wisper taking a breath before standing up. "charlie, its up to you really, i have no want of seeing you mother again but i will if you want to; its your call."
She nods letting everything sink in, sitting on the floor and her girlfriend hugs her.
as the common area falls into silence we can all just wonder and worry for the next step.
