It was another typical day at the Hedgehog Residence.
Sonic was in the living room watching his favorite racing show, Silver was doing who knows what, and Shadow stood in the hidden armory of his lavish mansion, admiring his freshly reclaimed guns and bombs collection.
“Finally, I got all my bombs and guns back from the police,” he muttered with satisfaction. “But I better be careful from now on. Gaia knows what will happen If Silver finds this room, we’re all dead.”
Shadow takes a key and locks his closet and leaves. Unbeknownst to him, Silver the Hedgehog had already slipped inside. The psychic hedgehog’s eyes lit up at the sight of the dangerous arsenal. “Oh boy. I’m sure Shadow won’t mind if I borrow a couple of these,” he said cheerfully. “I can finally take out Team Chaotix!” He grinned maliciously, drumming his gloved fingers together.
Silver’s gloved hand brushed a bomb and in his typical clumsy enthusiasm, accidentally triggered one of Shadow’s time bombs.
[Self Destruct in 20 Seconds]
“Oh crap…” He gulped.
“I’m telling you, Sonic. Amy said if you have sex with her once, she’ll leave you alone forever.” Shadow said.
“No, she won’t.” Sonic shook his head. “Once you’ve had a taste of this greatness, you can never go back.”
Shadow rolls his eyes at the blue hedgehog’s smugness. Honestly, it’s a miracle he hasn’t killed him long ago. Suddenly, Silver burst into the room, eyes blazing with panic. “Holy—! Get the hell out of here now!”
Sonic froze. “Whoa, Silver. Where’s the fire?”
“There’s no fire—wait, yes there is! I may have uh, accidentally set off a bomb.“
“WHAT!?” They shrieked.
The blue speedster and ultimate life-form barely had time to process as Silver actives his telekinesis and they all levitated out the front door before an explosion rocked the entire mansion. Alarms blared as flames spread across everywhere.
The mansion was reduced to rubble in minutes.
“My house!” Shadow cried.
“My home.” Sonic wailed.
“My comic books!” Silver added. “Uh, hey. Look on the bright side, we made it out in one piece, right?” He said with a slight hopeful smile.
“You…fucking bastard!” Shadow roared. He grabbed Silver by the front. “Silver, I’m going to kill you. You dumbass son of a—!”
Sonic then stepped in. “Shadow, calm down. There’s no need to kill Silver…yet. We can just stay with Tails until we find a new place to live.”
Shadow snarled. “Screw that. Silver—either you me find a new place by the end of the month, or you can spend the rest of your life as dust.”
Silver gulped. “Okay, Shadow. I’ll find us a new place. Just don’t kill me.”
Later that evening, the boys arrived at Tails’ place explaining the whole situation, luckily Tails was thankful enough to let them stay for a couple of days.
“Thanks again for letting us crash here Tails.” Sonic thanked his little buddy. Tails smiled in appreciation, “Oh it’s no problem Sonic. I’m sure you guys will find a new place. By the way, why is Shadow beating Silver outside.”
Sonic glanced out the window and truth be told, Shadow was out on the lawn having the white hedgehog in a chokehold. The fox and speedster winced at the scene.
“Um, Silver’s kinda the reason why the house blew up.” Sonic answered.
