Night spider

Summary:

Late at night the lost boys were hunting a security guard whom you ended up saving. And in an attempt to prevent them from killing anybody else, you follow them back to the cave. There, David convinces you to make it up to him.

Notes:

I love superheros and the lost boys so here a small cross over. Reader dosent not have a suit insted just normal clothes. David is a bit pissy in this.

Work Text:

Thick fog rolled into the closed Santa Carla boardwalk. Everybody had long since vacated, leaving a single security guard roaming around. Everything was the same as every night until sounds of laughter eerily echoed through the boardwalk. Following the sound, he shone his light as he walked down the darkened path. He walked unaware of the shadowy figure hunting him.

A "thwip" was heard running past his ear, causing him to quickly turn around. His light shining a spotlight on the vampiric David bound by webs. The security guard dropped his flashlight as he quickly ran out of the dark walkway and to the boardwalk exit. Dwayne and Paul came out of the shadows to aid David as Marko went after the security guard. Marko barely made it a couple of feet before one of his feet became stuck to the group with similar webbing.

"The hell?" Marko questioned as he looked at the webbing keeping him bound.

"What even is this shit?" Paul said, confused by the stronger than usual webbing that came out of nowhere.

You jump down from the building you were perched on. Picking up the abandoned flashlight, you shine it from Marko, who was breaking his foot free, to David, whom Paul and Dwayne had released. All 3 shifted their attention to you. You stare confused and slightly scared at their now normal faces that you knew were not like that before.

You had a couple of chats with them before. Well, less chatting and more you bombarding them with questions and begging for at least one picture of them for your section in the town's paper. You saw them as perfect candidates for your section on punk fashion, biker gangs, and the constant fight between bikers and surfers. All offers were met with annoyed no's or sly comments. And if they did answer, they were all jokes and nothing you could use.

"You took my kill." David snarled at you, angry and hungry.

"I'm sorry," you stumble out as a reflex before you realize what you were apologizing for.

"I mean, not sorry. Killing is kind of what I'm against." You start to back away as the 3, now 4, with the finally released Marko, vampires stare you down with confusion mixed with anger. Suddenly Paul takes a lunge toward you. To protect yourself, you shot 2 webs: one up to a lamppost, pulling yourself up and out of his attack, and the other to his face, covering his mouth.

"ugh its in my mouth!" He claws at his face. Marko comes to his side as Paul is dramatically gagging.

You lower yourself upside down from the web. "Why did you try to bite me--oh oh you guys are--oh. That explains the no pictures."

"You hang upside down" Dwayne approached you.

"You hang upside down" Dwayne approached you.

"You guys are vampires. "Don't you guys, like, do the same?" You ask before you land back on the ground.

"Not like that."

"Right, right, of course not. Is uh Paul ok?" You point over to Paul, who was still overplaying his disgust.

"He'll recover."

"And David?" you whisper as you quickly glance at him as he is still staring daggers at you.

"Probably less so" Dwayne whispers under his breath.

"We should go" David states, stern with no room for argument.

"Come on, David, we just found out they're more than just a talker." Marko came up behind you, placing his hands on your shoulders and shaking you slightly.

"Leaving" David stated as he walked away from the group, still caught up in his anger at his stolen kill.

"Drag" Dwayne said before following with Paul coming next to him, matching his stride.

"Don't take it personally. He's grouchy when hungry." Marko whispers in your ear before following the rest. His voice in your ear made a shiver go down your spine, making you realize how fast your heart had been racing. You lost yourself in thought as your mind wandered to...other ideas before you realized they were actively leaving. And for all you knew, they were going to hunt somebody else.

"I-I can't really let you guys go. You know, because you guys might go after other people."

"Then keep up" David turned and challenged you. A part of you knew there was a trap somewhere, but you could handle yourself. It was other people you were worried about. If taking his challenge could protect others, it's worth it.

You entered into the cave close behind them with their cheers of excitement echoing. Standing in the center of the area, you look around at the surrounding decorations. You knew following them into their cave wasn't the best choice, but what's the harm? You needed to make sure they wouldn't go and hurt anybody else. At least that's what you told yourself to justify it. Marko had started to play some rock music on a boombox on a low volume.

Paul and Dwayne caught your attention as they started roughhousing with each other. David sat pouting in the old wheelchair. The two kept tumbling around, not really caring for what they ran into. You shot a web up to the ceiling to be able to pull yourself up and out of their way when they came in your direction too quickly. This catches Dwayne's and Paula's attention. They were still not used to seeing somebody be able to do that.

"So the web comes out of your wrists. That's totally freaky." Marko looked up at you.

"You guys drink blood. That's totally freaky." Marko laughed at his own words thrown back at him. You release the web landing back on the ground.

"Epic, you're actually like a spider." Paul grabbes onto the web, still hanging there, swinging on it. Not well, but his feet were off the ground. It was like you gave them a new toy. You turn your attention back to David, who watched with interest, as if you were something to kill.

"How long have you guys been vampires?" You take a seat on the old couch close to where David was sitting.

"Since 1906, how long have you been like that?"

"Not nearly as long as you guys." You attempt to make a joke.
"About a year" You answer when you meet with no response from David and the rest are still taking turns with the web. It was hard to understand that this punk biker group are vampires, let alone from 1906. You could only imagine how many of the town murders throughout the years were them.

"So is the whole drinking blood thing fully necessary?" You try to slip the question in.

"Rather we starve" Dave snapped at you, his stare unwavering. His voice echoes in the cave and your head.

"No, no, I mean, like, you don't need to kill people. Maybe feed on animals."

"Maybe we should start feeding on spiders," Paul had come over the back of the couch, coming to sit very close to you. You got what he was insinuating, and it's not like the idea of them feeding on you didn't have a slight interest.

"Spiders are insects" You try your best to hide the blush that came to your face.

"Very true, bats eat spiders, that's also very true" Paul glances at Dwane with a smirk at his comment.

"That should make you taste twice as good" Marko leaned over the couch, leaning close to your neck.

David leans forward in his seat, keeping eye contact with you.
"We should try that out" You wanted to protest, but no excuse came to your mind besides you didn't want to be fed from, or that's what you made yourself believe.
"You stole my kill. It's the least you could do" David said, standing and making his way to the empty spot next to you on the couch. You felt like prey being stalked by a predator.

"If you got a good taste, we could keep you around" Paul's voice sounded less human and more like a hungry hyena waiting for a kill to feed upon.

"Having a blood bag would mean fewer needed hunts, Spidey." Dwayne took his spot standing in front of you. His point was more than confusing. It's not like you needed a lot of convincing in the first place.

"Come on, let us have a taste" Markos's voice came from behind you.

"As long as I don't die."

"You won't die, I promise. We will take just enough to have our fill." David got close to your neck, and you tilted your head to allow him easier access. His bite made you flinch away from him, so you were now leaning against Paul. Paul lets you lean on him, helping to keep you steady.

David let out a soft moan against your neck, finally having fed after a while of being held back. And to him the taste of your blood was well worth the wait. You started to feel slightly dazed with the surprisingly pleasurable feeling of David's fans on your neck mixed with the feeling of all eyes on you. Paul played with your hair, keeping it out of the way of your neck.

David pulled away from you a bit of your blood tainted his lips. The sight should have made you disgusted, but instead it made you feel the opposite. Before you could fully collect your thoughts, Paul took David's place at your neck. Your breathing became heavy and your mind was fuzzy. You didn't even fully register as Marko and Dwayne both took one of your arms. They kept their eyes on you as they sunk their teeth into your arms. You shut your eyes trying and failing to keep some sounds silent.

It felt as if every one of your senses became even more enhanced yet numbed at the same time. Which made it all disappointing when all three finally pulled away. You opened your eyes again to see David staring at you. For once tonight he didn't seem angry or hungry but instead amused. And you liked it. You wanted them to continue. You told yourself it was the blood loss that was messing with your head, making you want them. But you all knew that this would become a regular occurrence. And if it keeps them from hunting anybody else, who are you to deny them.
