Work Text:
Nicolas McKelty, rich, smart, gorgeous, and so very painfully gay. Painful to him in many different ways. Mainly, he is not telling anyone, because his father wants him to be the perfect image of a McKelty.
This however doesn't mean he's keeping it a secret, people assume he's straight and he doesn't correct them but he's openly checked out cute guys at school, not that there are that many. He's sure some people know. He's turned down enough girls for rumours to exist. But for some reason no one believes them, just thinking he's a snob.
And here we go again, a note, in his locker. He sighs and picks it up, not really wanting to turn anyone down today. He opens it and reads the note with confusion.
'Nick,
I have a surprise for you. A little game for us to play. Come meet me in the basement storeroom during free period. I promise it'll be fun. For one of us at least.
X'
What a weird note and it's typed up, they couldn't even be bothered to handwrite it. He guesses he should go at least to check who would be so lazy with their confession note. If it even is one.
He sits through his classes for the day, honestly not that interested in them, more focused on whatever is gonna happen. He's not gonna lie, he knows that this is one of two things. Either some girl is gonna confess to him and he has to reject her or this is a trap and something is going to happen. He couldn't care less, he's only going to check it out to keep up appearances. Or at least that's what he'd tell anyone who asks, truthfully he's sceptical but curious.
When the free period starts, he lazily wanders down to the basement, taking his sweetass time, hands in his pockets.
He takes the last few steps down and turns the corner, finding the storeroom in question dark, but the door is open and inviting. He sighs and shrugs stepping into the small room, looking around.
The door closes with a silent click and a chuckle. Nick whips around, confused. The light flicks on to reveal a grinning Hank Zipzer who gives him a dramatic eyebrow wiggle. Nick sighs again shaking his head. That explains it.
"Oh come on Nick, I invited you down here to play a game." Hank says playfully.
Nick takes a deep breath. "What kind of game?" He knows better than to give in to Zitzer but again, he's curious.
Hank hops closer excitedly. "Seven minutes in heaven.~" He leans in, still grinning brightly.
Nick raises an eyebrow but smirks back. "Do you even know how to play seven minutes in heaven?" He surprises himself with how flirty that came out.
Hanks rolls his eyes and chuckles. "Of course I know how to 'play' it. I'm not an idiot." He lifts his hand to put it on Nick's shoulder but stops short, keeping it hovering. "Two people, in a closet, or other small room, getting to know each other more intimately, often with their lips and or hands."
"And you chose me to 'play' with?" Nick asks curiously. Hank's been known to play pranks and stuff but Nick also knows when he's genuinely excited for something, which confuses him.
Hank fiddles with Nick's lapel, finally touching Nick gently while his eyes flick between Nick's chest and eyes. "Well, yeah. You're my favourite to play with."
Nick chuckles. "I'm your favourite to annoy." He corrects.
"Exactly." Hank presses his chest against Nick's to get closer.
"Are you saying that you annoy me because you want to kiss me?" Nick teases.
"Uh..." Hank tilts his head sheepishly. "That's a bit of a long play. I haven't wanted to kiss you or anything for all these years. Maybe a bit recently but not the whole time. You know I never plan ahead like that. Or at all."
"You planned this." Nick places his hand on Hank's hip.
Hank shrugs. "I did, and I almost forgot about it. But I didn't think you'd come though or stay. Or let me get this close to you."
Nick grins and checks his watch. "You're not using your seven minutes very wisely."
"Huh?" Hank asks confused.
"We're playing, right? A minute has already passed." Now both of Nick's hands are on Hank's hips.
Hank blushes. "Oh, right."
His hand slides up from Nick's chest to around the back of his neck. He pauses looking into Nick's eyes as the blond raises an eyebrow again in expectation. Hank clears his throat softly, nervous before leaning in, and their lips meet softly.
Nick accepts the kiss, returning and deepening it, again to his surprise. Hank builds back his confidence and pulls Nick back towards the door and more importantly the light switch, flicking it off and plunging them into darkness. Nick hums in appreciation, the dark adding to the building tension between the two of them. Nick presses Hank against the door as Hank wraps both arms around Nick's neck.
Okay so Nick would admit this isn't what he thought would happen when he came down here, and it's definitely not what he thought he'd be doing with Hank of all people but for some reason, he doesn't seem to care, or well, he does but in the opposite way to how he thought he would.
They're both lost in the feeling of the other, their long deep snog eventually turns into short, hungry nips and sucks as they try to catch their breaths without truly stopping their kissing. It's as if they're experiencing something for the first time they never knew they needed for survival. Hands grip and tug desperately, and bodies move fluidly. Neither is sure how long has passed but they don't care.
If either of them were strong enough the other would surely be hoisted into their arms. But alas they both have to stand and try their best to absorb the other in pleading movements. Hank pulls Nick's hair, and Nick's hands slide under Hank's untucked shirt, his bare skin smooth.
Nick moves his lips down to Hank's neck with a grin, biting down gently causing Hank to gasp and whine softly.
"Nick..." Hank pouts.
Nick hums in acknowledgement as he gently sucks and nibbles on the fresh skin. His thumbs tracing circles over Hank's stomach. Hank pulls Nick's head back, forcing another snogging which Nick easily accepts gripping Hank's hips and pulling them impossibly closer, chests, stomachs, hips against one another.
It's hot, it's steamy, it's perfectly matched. Nick's control and confidence are fighting against Hank's impulsiveness and desire. They're long gone, their rivalry long forgotten. Only them and their needs in the dark room.
Nick wouldn't admit this, but he thinks Hank is honestly one of the hottest guys at the school, looks-wise at least, but his personality can be a turn-off. He's tall enough, with pretty eyes and soft-looking hair. Even his messy fashion style is kinda hot, it works for him. If he just paid more attention to his facial grooming, especially those eyebrows, he'd be like a model.
In here, alone, with nothing to remind him he's supposed to hate this guy, it's honestly a dream. If he just ignores the fact that it's Hank Zipzer and pays attention to the fact that he's kissing a really hot guy, exploring his body, with the alluring risk of possibly getting caught, in a dark cozy room, yeah, he can enjoy this immensely.
He can't help wanting more, to drink him in, to touch and feel all that's on offer before him. He grinds their bodies together eliciting another gasp from Hank who growls lowly with another sharp tug on blond hair, giving in and following the lead.
They pant and moan and grind and grab. There isn't much wall space to push each other up against but they use what they can, plus the door.
They'd surely get suspended if they were caught basically having sex on school grounds but they don't care, giving in to what their bodies knew they needed. Each other, like a magnetic pull that they finally released and let happen.
Before they know it, the school bell rings signalling the end of the period. Well, that was definitely longer than seven minutes.
Nick pulls away as if he hadn't just done that, the bell snapping him out of it. He opens the door and turns back to Hank. "Thanks, we should play again sometime." He says giving a one-sided smirk, glancing at the hickey he forgot he gave Hank now that they have light again before walking off, adjusting his outfit and hair before heading back upstairs.
Hank just stands there bewildered, hard and giddy. This was probably his best idea yet.
Nick, on the other hand is cursing himself for having to sit through class all worked up like this. Why did he have to let Zitzer get to him like this, again?
