Work Text:
“I hate this."
“No you don’t,” Yu laughs. “You thought it was a great idea when they pitched it!"
“Well it sounded funny,” Geon whines, “but now that I’m here, it’s just embarrassing."
“So Seol,” Yu starts to tease, a hint of a smile flickering at the corner of Geon’s mouth. “You’re going to be great. You’re actually a really decent actress!” Geon frowns even harder at Yu’s giggle, but the annoyance is fading.
“Next time, you can be the girl, and we’ll see how you like it!”
The producers announce they only need a few more takes before the day is done. Geon snaps into character as soon as he steps in front of a camera, but once “cut!” is yelled, he scowls again.
“At least you get a good breeze in that skirt,” Yu says with a grin. He tugs gently on the end of Geon’s wig. “It’s summer, and they’ve got me in a full suit for tomorrow's scene!"
This seems to improve Geon’s mood just a bit. They film one last take, and the producers step over to the monitor to watch the clip before sending the boys home.
“Besides, you make a better girl than I do,” Yu continues.
“Does that mean you think I’m pretty?” Geon says. His eyes are bright like they always are when he’s making jokes at Yu’s expense. “I bet you wish I was a girl all the time!"
Yu rolls his eyes as dramatically as he can. “No, I like you better as a boy."
“Okay, guys, great work today!” The crew calls to them. There’s a burst of applause, and they head back to their dressing rooms.
“I bet if you asked, they’d let you keep the skirt,” Yu says through a laugh.
“Shut up,” Geon groans just as he disappears behind the curtain.
“Maybe you could even take the wig!”
“I hate you!"
“No you don’t!"
