Week one after lying to paris:
Ladybug was exhausted. She was exhausted from lying to Adrien, lying to her parents, lying to the entire nation of Paris that entrusted her with the responsibility of keeping them safe about what really happened in that wretched basement. She doesn't want to be ladybug anymore. Marinette’s entire life was in shambles because of her ladybug persona and no one but Natalie would understand why she did such a thing. Everytime she goes out and sees that contemptible figure of Gabriel Agreste a wave of nausea overcomes her, but yet again she has to keep a smile and act like she respects the “noble heroic” actions he supposedly performed.
Ladybug could see her suit changing in real time to look more like shadybugs suit when shady was being manipulated by the supreme court or something (honestly, at this point, ladybug can't remember all the tiny details when her own life could be a movie plot ). It was an interesting change, but she couldn't help but wonder whether it was because her own life was breaking down piece by piece. Not only that, but Cat Noirs suit had also changed similarly, making her wonder even more if something was going on with his life.
Week 2:
Marinette wondered if she should tell somebody the truth, just to get it off her shoulder. She knew that Natalie also knew about the entire ordeal, but she just wasn't close enough to vent to her about it. Plus, isn't Natalie part of the problem herself? To be fair, she was Hawk Moths sidekick for a good while till she fell ill herself but whatever. At least dating Adrien was the one thing that was going good for her… right?
Even so, marinette really wanted, no needed to tell anyone but adrien the truth; someone who would still stay by her side after realising her betrayal, someone who would understand why she did what she did, and someone who definitely doesnt know Adrien
And so she decided,
She would tell Cat Noir.
