His ears were ringing. He couldn't see anything, his eyes were blurry and being blinded by the light. His body was aching everywhere and his head was spinning, it felt like he was gonna die. He couldn't even move, let alone fight back. So who was gonna stop him from dying?
Everyone was passing by him like they didn't care, as they should. He deserved this, he really did. His breaths were shallow and uneven, he couldn't breathe. He was about to pass out from exhaustion until a familiar voice perked his ears,
"Woi, gila, bangun lah." It was Megat. Why was he even checking up on him? He deserved this. He doesn't need someone like him to care. But his breaths became more calm, turning to normal when he heard Megat. He muttered his name— but it wasn't even heard. Nothing can come out of this aching body except for pain.
Megat began to shake him gently to keep him awake. He was just staring at him while he did this, he didn't want to say anything. He couldn't. He smiled, even if his body was screaming in pain. It was the only thing he could do. "Bodoh, jangan senyum kat aku. Bangun lah." Megat barked at the smile.
He coughed out a phlegm, moving his hand slowly to carress Megat's. "…Gat.." he blurted out his name. "Kau… puas..? Tengok aku.. macam ni…?" he continued his mumbling, even if it was true. Megat should be satisfied seeing him like this. Hell, he even saw him try to beat him up for a split second before closing his eyes. So why is he checking up on Reza like they were friends?
"Memang.. Aku memang puas. Aku benci kau."
Megat said bluntly. Even if that were the case, Reza couldn't believe it. He didn't want to. Megat held him close to his chest, staring at him for a short amount of time before kissing him on the lips. It was only for a few seconds before he pulled away, but a short kiss like that was enough to keep them both satisfied.
Reza just giggled achingly to the kiss. "Aku pon samo.."
It was silence for a few minutes. Megat looked behind him at the loud cheering in the background, the new Kapla was chosen. Reza's eyes followed where he was looking and tilted his head a little to see in his direction. He continued coughing up a phlegm, which made Megat look back at him.
"Dah, kau nak pergi dorm? Aku pun. Jom." Megat sputtered out everything in a span of seconds, not wanting to hear Reza's reply. He wrapped Reza's arms around his neck, holding his knees and back tightly and began to carry him bridal style.
The two didn't care who looked at them anymore. Fortunately though, no one was since they were all focused on Kahar's victory of being the new Kapla.

Megat continued carrying him until they were at Reza's room, the closest dorm from the Ghazali Hall. He put him down on his bed gently and picked up the ointment on the table lamp and shrugged.
"Baring tegak-tegak." he ordered. Reza did everything as he told, staring at him while he rubbed his injuries with the ointment. He also tapped on his injuries with wet tissues, which made the other hiss quietly in pain.
Once he was done, he searched around the room for bandaids and bandage wrappings, Reza noticed and pointed below his bed. Megat just gave a nod in response. He began to place bandaids and bandages on his injuries, his forehead, chest, abdomen and some more.
Reza sat down on the edge of his bed, staring blankly towards the floor. The other sat beside him, staying quiet, eager to speak.
"Ja. Aku masih benci kau." Megat reminded him, so he doesn't get some funny ideas on his mind.
"Tapi mung dukung aku dan bawak aku pergi dorm, lepastu mung treat injuries aku." he retorted back at Megat's statement, looking up at him.
He scoffed at the reply, rolling his eyes in response. "I'm not THAT cruel."
Reza chuckled, slowly turning into a giggle as he continued. He stared at Megat as Megat just took a glance at him. God, how much he missed being with the man who understands him the most. He missed his random but funny jokes, his words of affirmation, his touch, being able to look at…. him. He missed it so much.
"Kau pandang ape, sial?" the sharp words said by Megat ran straight to his chest, popping him out of his train of thought.
"..Takde pape." Reza looked to his side, not realising he's been staring at him for far too long. He could still feel the other's gaze on him but he just decided to ignore it. "Kau tak sejuk ke…?" Megat asked in a worried enough tone, making Reza look back at him.
"Uh.. um.. ye. Aku rasa sejuk." Reza stammered, rubbing his shoulders to add up how cold he was. It wasn't working, obviously, but maybe it'll add up on Reza's pity counter. Megat huffed in annoyance, taking his teal-green jacket off and putting it on Reza.
Reza recoiled back at the sudden gesture, then nodding his head as a thanks. "Still rasa sejuk?" Megat asked, tilting his head.
"Tak.. tak. Jaket kau bau macam rokok." Reza complimented… his jacket? It did mostly reek of cigarettes and some sort of fancy cologne. It smelt pretty nasty, but not for Reza.. he absolutely adored the smell. It reminded him alot of Megat. And he will not be giving the jacket back anytime soon. Reza positioned the jacket to make it fit on him.
"Aku tau. It's like a compliment." he responded, closing his eyes and smirking as if it was a good thing. Megat stood up from the bed, getting ready to go back. "Kalau kau dah guna jaket tu, bagi balik kat aku."
"Jap!"
Megat stopped in his steps, looking back and tilting his head up then down as if he was saying 'Ape?'.
"..Terimo kasih, Shah. Aku tak tau ape aku akan buat kalau mung tak tolong aku."
"Samo-samo, Ja."
He walked to the door, opening it and—
Li.
Megat cleared his throat, taking a quick glance at him and immediately started to fast-walk. Li glanced behind him and sneered in response. He entered the dorm room, staring at what Reza was wearing.
"..Why was Megat in our dorm room?"
Li questioned, sitting on his bed that was placed right next to eachother, seperated by a lamp desk. He stared at Reza, eyeing the treated injuries and the jacket that was on him.
"Dia tolong rawatkan injuries aku.. lepastu dia bagi aku jaket dia untuk aku gunakan." Reza held the jacket close to him, tucking his hands in the pockets of the cloth.
..What…?????? Last time Li heard, these two were sworn enemies. Everytime they pass by eachother, atleast one of them will hit the other with a glare. Li noticed the long stare they give to eachother when they're standing on opposite sides. He hears the 'tch' that spouted from Reza when Megat bumps into his shoulder on purpose.
And the coup d'etat Reza told him about, it was enough to make him think 'Wow, these two hate eachother.' Even the time they were at Megat's dorm room to threaten him to stop persuading Kahar. But.. Megat lended his jacket and treated Reza's injuries?? Li tilts his head in confusion and breaks the silence,
"Bukan you two hate eachother ke?"
Reza choked on his spit, coughing uncontrollably when he heard that. Of course they hate eachother, why wouldn't they? So then why aren't they acting like they do? He shrugged, he didn't really have a specific answer to that. He did feel some sort of hatred towards Megat— but the hatred in his heart was already hollow. Reza didn't know what he felt for him anymore, but it's definetly something.
Li hummed, now changing his position to laying down on his bed. He had no say in Megat and Reza's situation, he only knew the tip of the iceberg. And he wasn't a relationship therapist guy too, so he'd rather Reza keep the secrets about them to himself. Though, he said something before heading to sleep,
"Whatever you two have with eachother, I hope you guys find a way to solve it in the best way possible. Goodnight."
Reza sighed. "Goodnight, Li."

Reza wore the jacket Megat lended to him for a week straight, only ever taking it off during Friday prayers or if the teacher told him to. He didn't want to get rid of the cigarette-cologne scent, but he accidentally sprayed some of his own vanilla-scented cologne onto the jacket sometimes without realising it, the jacket now having three distinctive smells.
Of course, some students would stare at Reza wearing the jacket and murmur 'Bukan ke tu Megat punya?' But he could care less, he only wanted the satisfaction of having Megat's scent for as long as he can. Kahar and his short friend also exchanged looks towards him, their faces looking more intrigued rather than mad. Megat noticed him wearing it too and everytime they passed by eachother, he just smirked at him.
He also forgot to give the jacket back to Megat. It was an awkward exchange of words as they weren't trying to be too friendly, Reza having the most awkward looking smile when he was giving the jacket back to him, Megat transforming into a ball of laughter when Reza told him he forgot.
If Reza had the chance to talk to Megat in such a quiet, intimate, and comfortable place like that again, he'd definitely take the chance the first time he got.
