"Ace! Yuu! Come here for a sec," Trey clover called from the kitchen. It was the unbirthday party and everyone—including the ramshackle duo—are helping prepare the party.
"What's up?" Ace waltzes toward the kitchen while holding a couple of cutleries that he was polishing. "What is it Trey?" This time it was Yuu entering the kitchen.
"I'm currently in bit of a bind. Will you do me favor?" Trey looked at the two with pleading eyes after fixing his glasses out of habit.
"Oooh it will cost yah!" A sly smirk emerge from Ace's face, eager to make his senior in debt.
"What's the favor?" Yuu asks readying theirselves to do another side quest.
"Can you and Ace deliver the cake to the event place? Please? You can have the mulberry tarts that I have been saving." Trey pointed at the medium sized box atop the table. "The cake is already inside and I have put all sorts of support for safe measure but it's still important to handle it carefully."
"Sure!" The ramshackle prefect took a step toward the box to carry it.
"HOLD UP, PREFECT!"
"What now?"
"Hey Trey. The cake, wasn't it supposed to be at the venue twenty minutes ago?" Ace turned to his senior, looking at him as if he is looking at a guilty politician. "And the party will start in THREE minutes. AND the venue is quite far from here. Are you setting us up with the housewarden hmm?" Now with one of his eyebrow raised he look at Trey sharply.
Trey sighed at the freshman in front of him. The deduction had sharply pierced through his plan causing him to smile awkwardly. "Yeah... Can you? I'll give you ten tarts."
The two looked at the audacity of the man in front of them.
"We'll do it!" Ace announced.
"We will?" Yuu looked at his now delivery accomplice.
"Yeah! But ten tarts EACH!"
"That's a deal."
"Wait I didn't sign up for thi—"
"Let's go Yuu! We don't have all day!" Ace grab the cake box and grab Yuu's hand before running out the kitchen.
"Well I better go as well, can't have Riddle be mad at me too." Trey turned as he starts taking off his apron and walking towards the shortcut only he, Cater, and the housewarden know.
He can actually deliver the cake there the fastest using the shortcut but the time limit is 3 minutes but he calculated the time and delivering it will take him 3 minutes and 40 seconds. It's gonna still be late, and he will take Riddle's wrath. Hence he decided, it's better to have the cake be 6 minutes more late than having the housewarden be mad at him.
On the other side of the castle, Ace and Yuu ran as if their lives depended on it. They took some sharp turns while still making sure the cake is still safe. While running, something suddenly caught Yuu's eyes.
"Wait Ace! Deuce, and Epel." Yuu stopped their tracks, catching their breath in between words. "Wha, what is it?" Ace doing the same, still holding the cake carefully. "Look!" The prefect pointed.
"Genius!" A glint of hope sparkled when he saw his buddy and Epel talking from a distance, leaning on their saviour—blastcycles.
"Deuce! Epel! Help!" With Ace's screams the two freshman looked at them alarmed. The delivery duo ran towards the two with heavy tired breaths. "We don't—haahh— we don't have—much time. Please."
"What? What happen? Who died? Is there an intruder? Are you guys hurt?" Deuce bombardment of questions were ignored. Instead, Ace sat at the backseat of Deuce blastcyle while Yuu looked at Epel pleadingly. "Help us get to the venue, we only have 2 minutes left! Please or it will be off with our heads!"
"Ok, ok prefect hop on, let's go!" Epel announced as the three quickly got on the blastcycles.
On one blastcycle there's Deuce as the driver and Ace as his passenger, holding the boxed cake. While on the other is Epel and Yuu.
"Hurry hurry!" Ace ushered putting the cake over his head on top of his shoulder.
1 minute and 40 seconds left.
As the four ride the blastcycle at full speed, Yuu glanced at the blastcycle slightly ahead of them. Just then an evil idea pop up.
"Hey Epel," Yuu whispered. "Can you match Deuce's speed a bit and be a little~ closer to them?"
"What? Why?"
"Please? Hurry."
"Sure."
Epel revved the blastcyle to gain a bit more speed. When the two blastcycles were at a matching pace, Yuu reached out their hands towards Ace's armpit. Tickling them making the man startled.
"Shit! Fuck you, Yuu!" Ace closed his eyes in torture as he try to kick Yuu from the blast cycle. He can't use both of his hands because of the cake and with his current position, his armpit is the most vulnerable.
"Tickle tickle!"
"Yuu! Stop!"
Deuce and Epel glanced behind them to see the occuring comedy and disaster that is currently happening.
"Go Yuu! I'll go closer"
"Don't you dare! Epel! Go away shit HAHAHAHA Yuu! The cake HHAHAHA the cake!" Ace tried his hardest to not laugh nor squirm in order for the cake to not fall while still trying to kick Yuu away. At the same time Deuce tried to slap Yuu's hand away. Yet with all he efforts Ace's armpit is still within reach and Yuu's hand continues to tickle tickle it.
"HAHAHAH Deuce! Go up! Go up!"
"On it." Deuce revved the blastcycle as he tries to make the blastcycle go into higher altitude.
"Oh now ya ain't runnin from me! Hold tight Yuu," Epel did the same, making the effort be quite useless.
"HAHAHA SHIT! YUU! The cake! The cake!"
"Shit!"
"Ooh yer heads gotta be taken."
"Oooh erm, sorry."
The cake fell.
The four watch the cake falling from heaven down and down it goes.
"No wait we can still save it. Hold tight Ace!"
"What? Deuce AHHH—" Deuce swerved the blastcycle downwards trying his best to match the speed of the falling cake as he can. Epel and Yuu followed suit.
"Hey isn't that the venue?" Epel announced making the three look at their future destination.
On the grounds, a group of heartslabyul students perfectly dressed are already in formation. Waiting for their housewarden to start the unbirthday party.
"Trey, the cake, where is the cake?" Cater asks, looking at the empty centerpiece table.
"I had the freshmen deliver it here. They will be on their way any second now." Trey smiled while fixing his glasses.
"They better be or Riddle will throw another fit." Cater whispers as he turn to look the housewarden walking towards their direction. "Speak of the devil and the devil will reveal themselves, Hi Riddle!"
"Trey, where is the cake?" Riddle asks, scanning the venue.
"I had Ace and Yuu delivered it. The cake will be here any second now, Riddle," Trey smiled professionally. "It better be or else it will be off with their heads—"
Silence surrounded the venue as gasps starts to emerge.
The cake.
The cake fell on Riddle.
Suddenly, a camera flash and a click broke the silence.
"Ooh... I guess Trey was right, it did arrived in seconds. Just not the way it's naturally delivered but still delivered nonetheless." Cater joked, trying his best to comfort the shock of everyone in attendance.
Riddles face starts to redden turning into a popping tomato.
"ACE! YUU!! OFF WITH YOUR HEADS!" His voice echoed through the gardens, through the skies, through the altitude of where the four is currently at.
"Shit."
"Let's get out of here!"
In the distance, the four instinctively looked down, only to meet the tomatoed housewarden glaring at them.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~a few minutes later~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Oh what happened to you guys?" Chenya asks popping his head.
"Shit man! Dont ya go popping yer head like that!" Epel glared at the smiling cheshire.
"My, my, I'm simply asking as to why there are four collared students facing the tall bush while having their hands high in the sky~~"
"Chenya! You're here!" Cater barged in smiling at his old friend. "Oh I see you've met the trouble makers."
"Hmm? Curious and curious, wanna tell me what happened?" Chenya leaned. Waiting for his friend's answer.
"You won't believe it! First Trey asks—"
The End.
