Harvard, the place infamous for its low acceptant rate, smart students and hard subjects.
And yet.. Avery got accepted, somehow..
He steps forward.. the gate of the university is in front greeting him.
He sighs.. he has nowhere to go but forward..
…
He passes through the gate, the busy noise of the students occupy the inside..
*”this university is so big..”*
He thinks, looking around as he walks
some students were sitting at a bench, holding a book, some were chatting while walking.. maybe he could get help—
“Hey, watch it..”
A rugged voice proclamied, avery frantically apologizes.
“Wait.. hold on what’s your name?”
“Avery rivers”
“Oh, so you’re my roommate.. I’m Hastur Roberts”
“Nice to meet you..”
“Didn’t expect us to meet this way, sorry if i was too.. ‘Aggressive’”
“It’s alright, I was a little clumsy..”
“Hah its alright.. we’re all clumsy sometimes”
Hastur reassured, tucking his hand in his hoodie while giving him a slight grin.
“Oh.. right mind if i show you the room or are you going somewhere first?”
He interjected
“Im not really going anywhere”
Avery replied.
“Follow me then!”
Hastur excitedly speaks before motioning Avery to follow.

They arrived at a door
Room 48
Hastur opens the door and enters..
The first thing Avery noticed was the 5 cans of monster atop a table and a couple discarded (presumably) dirty clothes pilled nearby
“So.. welcome!”
“Thanks”
“I didn’t know you were gonna be here today so.. apologies for the mess”
“Its alright..”
Avery sets down his bag on the left side bed, unpacking his things..
“Hey!”
Hastur yelled as if their a mountain apart
“What’s your class tomorrow?”
“Physics.. art class and chemistry”
Avery replied finished with his unpacking (he didnt bring much with him) sitting down on the bed laptop on his lap..
“Cool.. I have physics class..”
Hastur replied, plopping himself on the other bed, focused on his phone
“First period?”
“Yeah..”
A comfortable silence fills the room..
The only sounds were the AC and Avery’s methodical typing..
…
“..Wanna go to the library?”
Hastur speaks..
“For what?”
“Just to pick up some textbooks we might’ve miss”
“Kinda busy.. can we do it later?”
“What are you even doing?”
Hastur asks, moving closer to Avery’s bed only to notice the other was playing Minecraft
“Seriously?”
“Haven’t played on hypixel for daays.. gotta make sure i’m still in the ranks”
Avery explains, moving his character to the portal that leads to skywars
Hastur removed the laptop charger from the outlet before avery could enter the portal
The laptop prompted:
“Battery is low, plug in your pc now”
Before shutting off
“Dude!, seriously?”
Hastur puts the charger on his bed before crossing his arms like a mad babysitter
“We gotta make sure we have our textbooks first man.. once class starts itll be hard to find the ones we need”
Hastur explained, prompting avery to sigh exaggeratedly
“Fine..”
Avery groaned, setting his laptop to the side, closing it and standing up albeit reluctantly
“C’mon.. you might meet a cute guy on the way there”
Hastur teased, Avery rolls his eyes at the joke..
“Let’s just go..”
“Fine..”.
